Polyester or acrylic can be dyed but not easily at home. I should have been more clear. Some dyehouses in the US will say they can dye the fibers but will only use products similar to idyepoly and deliver a pastel shade at best. Of course it is!!!! :cry: The dyeable version that is. The fabric is called springweave and the old dyeable version made with cotton is like finding gold. It disappeared about 4 years ago. Don't be fooled by the easily available modern versions that look almost the same but are polyester or acrylic ...

My pleasure Ken! Yep, check your pattern. All the measurements are there. This is the lightest belt I've ever made and it feels great when worn. I agree, with the other belts I'm always feeling like i have to wrestle with them. The velcro on the front of the trunks would be all you need to keep this...

Hi All, Thought I would kick off the new board with my new First Season Utility Belt! Not a true replica because I used my found brass receiver instead of the custom one.
