Re: Batman's Costume Colors

Whatever the color of the cowl, I think it's fair to say these are the closest anyone's gotten in replicating the comic book originals to the screen. Probably the closest we'll ever get, too. And that goes for the villains and sidekicks equally as for the Caped Crusader.

Re: The Dark Knight (as a '66 two-parter)

So I know I said that after this next part the first "episode" would be over, but it was so long I just cut it in two. Either way, the whole thing will be done and online by the end of this week, so it's still OK, right? Part 8 of 9: A Formal Affair... https://brightknight66.wordpress.com/...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast #73: Frank Gorshin returns - don't blink or you'll miss him!

despite being arguably the second ( or at least third ) most important character in the show. Third? Who would be above him to take 2nd place of importance to the show? As Tim already said above, I think the villain is the only one that's possibly more important than Robin. Without Batman and a goo...

Speaking of fairness, I thought the differences in wages each star was paid to be really interesting, too. It puts all those stories of Burt Ward's attitude on set in perspective. Frankly, I don't think we can blame the guy for complaining about lines or anything else when his salary is many times l...

Re: The Dark Knight (as a '66 two-parter)

I haven't been feeling so great lately, and it's been a long while since I had something to share, but here's the next two parts to my story for those who've been waiting: Part 6: The Fall of a Sparrow https://brightknight66.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/fall-of-a-sparrow/ “Stand back citizens,” Batman w...

I know I say it all the time, but another great episode, guys! THANKS! I always try to guess what your outro music will be. 'Undone' was my guess after Paul's beautiful vocal cover, but the Beach Boy's 'Good Vibrations' was in a close second after all that talk of Vibrating Massage Tables. ;) Not so...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast #72: Archer, first draft: Why the arrow flew crooked

Another fantastic episode! I can't help but feel that we're delaying the inevitable, though. You're gonna have to talk about Season Three eventually, guys! I think the basic idea of The Archer could have been a fun one. That is, a villain who robs the rich to give to the poor, Robin-Hood-style. Arch...

Sweet! I haven't seen it yet (and really shouldn't be in here...) but I'm sure I'll love the movie if only for the fact that it's Adam West's final performance as the Caped Crusader. No one does it better.

The Joker's just not doing it for ya, eh? ;) A female lead definitely brings something else to the table.
