Batman on TCM in Latin America?
While looking for what little remains of our favorite show on YouTube, I found a portion of an episode dubbed in Spanish. To my surprise there was a Turner Classic Movies logo on it. Question: If TCM is running Batman south of the border, are they running the show with no commercials, uncut and un-s...

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread
The part they cut was Batman knocking Commissioner Gordon out and then asking people to carry him down to the Batmobile. Uh, gee, Batman, just give him a whiff of the Batgas *after* he's sitting in the Batmobile. LOL. I know, too complicated to film, time and moneywise, plus it adds to the zaniness...

Re: Would you have been a Bat-fan if the series had never ai
I really doubt it; I never read superhero comics as a kid since I was way too busy being into cars. And once my brothers got into comic books and I saw their Justice League stuff, the only hero from there that really impressed me was Hawkman. So you might say my Bat-enthusiasm was always for the TV ...

Re: Which Episode Are You Looking Forward To Most On DVD/BR?
The episodes that spring to mind immediately are the Catwoman/Sandman episodes. And I thought I was the only one! Still my favorites. Now I'll get a better look at all those doodads in Sandman's coat that weren't used, and maybe figure out how the stethoscope worked. Second fave: "Death in Slo...

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread
Noticed a couple differences between the first episode and the recap: In "The Bookworm Turns" when Batman and Robin find Lydia in the bookmobile, Batman in closeup says "I'm going to put you to sleep for a little while" - then they cut to Lydia as Batman says "There will be ...

Robin seems to have dropped a glove. Do either of those outfits still exist? That cowl is missing the stripe across the bridge of the nose so it could be identified. Is Burt's outfit the post-show one he later sold? Gleeps, don't give up on those slides - many times they can be digitally color-corre...

Re: A real, WORKING Batarang! WATCH!
Now that I think about it, how often on the show did Batman throw the Batarang and actually have it come back to him? (As opposed to throwing it to carry a rope over a high railing or klonk a villain on the head?)

Found it in higher definition here: [BBvideo 425,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNGbQVXNP_I[/BBvideo] Managed to grab a still image of the sub and tweaked the brightness and contrast a bit... too bad it's a copy of a video transfer to begin with: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7425/12329940344_da...

Found another goof: in "Holy Rat Race", as Blaze introduces herself to Wayne and Dick at Wayne Manor, there's a very big mike shadow moving around on the left side of the screen.

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread
One odd thing: Robin gets knocked out by the mesmerizing ray - but then is awake enough for two reaction shots when Batman gets the plaster dumped on him (and as I've said, what a shame to see a Batsuit get ruined!) - and yet in the next episode, he's asleep again, waking up to find himself tied to ...

Chiming in a bit late, but your outfit sure turned out nice, especially in the fourth and fifth pictures! Riddle me this: Is your friend (correction: fiend?) the Riddler wearing a Rubies outfit? If not, who makes that one?
