Re: Say Goodbye to Your Bootlegs!

I never purchased any, but I'll definitely be keeping my "set" that I taped off of The Family Channel strictly for the commercials and such. It'll become one of those "someday I'll transfer these..." projects.

I'd really, really, really prefer that "hoax" Blu-Ray packaging that surfaced...

TVShowsOnDVD confirmed it with Warner Bros., that's confirmation enough for me...

Re: 1968 Cartoon- What's taking so long!?!?!?!?

This got me to thinking, it's a shame that an actual continuation cartoon of our beloved series was never done. I guess it would've fallen under the same alleged rights issues. This comic that's out now would be the closest thing. I'd still be up for using Adam and Burt as the voices, but the window...

Cool article. I know the article is from 2008, but I didn't even realize that he was still alive.

Re: Remembering Barbara Nichols

Not long after, Barbara Nichols appeared in the musical color version of The Honeymooners skit "Stand In For Murder." Art Carney is in the ep, of course, but I don't think they shared any screen time. In an earlier musical color Honeymooners ep, Norton sees a man in a turban and quips, &qu...

Re: Costume Recycling on Batman episodes!

I remember when the Cassandra dress was on eBay. If I recall, whoever ended up with it is/was a member here (this was YEARS ago) and at a very good price.

Re: Cut/missing scenes from episodes

The Family Channel used to amuse me every Christmas. No matter where they were in the run, they would play The Puzzler episodes, yet, the only Christmas connection, Andy Devine as Santa Claus, was always cut!

Re: Favorite Epilogue

Not sure why, but "Deep Freeze" when Commissioner Gordon "breaks the fourth wall" and simply can't imagine that he was losing his faith...in Batman. The way he looks at the camera and says it has amused me since I was a kid.

Re: Third Season Shame episodes on ME-TV

I always liked these Shame eps much better than the first two. Hermione Baddeley was funny, too, and by her own account had a lot of fun doing them.

Re: Batman TV Series References in 70's Media

Iv'e already got the comics and cartoons well covered. But does anybody know of any references to the series in movies or tv shows from 70's? And was this encounter that Adam West had with Jerry Lawler really from the 70's? http://www.comicsalliance.com/2011/06/09/batmans-1976-pro-wrestling-encount...
