Re: Adam West and Bruce Lee on Milton Berle

It's a kinescope copy of the show, which indeed was originally in color. The Fall of 1966 was when all ABC shows went to color.

Re: Adam West and Bruce Lee on Milton Berle

According to IMDB, this was the second episode of Berle's brief series on September 16, 1966. Supposedly, Adam sang a song prior to his cameo as Batman.

Commissioner Gordon & Lemonade

Gordon certainly had his problems pertaining to lemonade. Late in the first season, he drinks a batch spiked by the Riddler with Temper Tonic at the Van Jones get-together, causing him to get into an ugly spat with O'Hara. Then, early in the second year, he gives Batman some lemonade spiked with Kin...

Re: Dozier estate item...recognize it?

Could it be one of the furs from the fur salon scene in "The Impractical Joker"?

Re: The penguin and Warden Crighton on Bonanza!

I saw Burgess playing a unhinged professor on "The Wild Wild West" earlier this week. It was one of his last roles before gracing the screen as "Pengy."

Green Hornet on ME-TV

Beginning Saturday, October 6, The Green Hornet will be shown on ME-TV. The bad news is that the two episodes shown each week will be aired between 6-7 AM, so get that DVR revved up.

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?

That's right!!!!! Didn't he reappear as Madame Lola Lasagna? I thought Egghead looked familiar! It was Blaze come back to Gotham City with a shaved head after the sheep farm thing with her brother didn't work out. They fooled me after all these years! "You've done it again, F.F.!" &...

Re: YouToo TV Switches Course Again

Last time, they showed additional stories up to the Penguin election episode, then went all over the map over the remainder of the last two seasons--including showing only the first or second part of a story--which is absurd. One nice thing about this is that there'll be an episode Friday nights--wh...

Re: YouToo TV Switches Course Again

A slight mistake on my part about the morning edition of The Green Hornet: it precedes Batman at 10:30 a.m.

YouToo TV Switches Course Again

Only slightly this time: they switched the 2:30 p.m. showing to 11 p.m. beginning tonight, with The Green Hornet following at 11:30. The two shows are also on at the same time(11/11:30) in the A.M.

Re: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 1967

In the second season, it took producers a few months before they got rid of the one-minute summary ("We have already seen") at the start of the Thursday shows. The simple reason was that because of the tidy review of Part I, the Wednesday shows were being skipped by many viewers, and thus ...

Re: If "1966" was ever released on DVD.....

http://thumbnails102.imagebam.com/21094/88ceec210938446.jpg I would LOVE to see bonus DVD/Blue Ray material tacked on such as this never before seen interview with Batgirl Yvonne Craig. I have only seen still images but would love to see a text transcript of what was asked, said, and who is the wom...

Re: "WILD!"

A year or so, I actually counted the number of times he said "Wild," and it came out to 21: 14 in the first part and "only" seven in the conclusion. In addition, the narrator (Dozier) and Commissioner Gordon each say it once.

Re: False Face - Should He Have Appeared More?

It's doubtful that would ever happen, simply because the producers of the Batman franchise over the past quarter century have focused on the comic book version, since the '66 fans don't fit their infamous marketing sweet spot. Besides, I can't picture anyone other than Victor Buono as King Tut, so a...
