Re: Adam has died

You'll get your costume done I'm sure, and it'll be a great tribute to both the show, and Adam without doubt.

If there's one thing we know about fans of the show, it's that we're a dedicated bunch. From custom costumes to replica Batmobiles and everything inbetween.

Re: Adam has died

Absolutely gutted.

The one and only Batman has gone to fight crime and villainy on the other side.

My condolences to the West family at this difficult time.

Re: Different logo?

And of course, the logo used during the credits is different again. One thing that always surprised me was that the logo isn't symmetrical. I think it was originally drawn by hand, but even so, you'd have thought folding it in half would have ensured that the bottom half matched each side. The recen...

Re: Different logo?

Do you mean there are some insert shots, (like the arrival at the police station or similar) where Batman has a different logo on his chest than in prior and following shots or do you mean the spinning bat logo that serves as a scene transition (like a wipe effect in a Star Wars movie)?

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

Thanks for the pictures. I'm a sucker for retro and retro-style toys, and Batman '66 (obviously) so I really like what I see. Like I said before, they could be a bit more accurate (especially Batman's head) but I'm certainly looking forward to getting these and adding them to my collection. While I ...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

The head is certainly the biggest difference and lets it down the most. That said, I still like what I see and the scale is a bonus. I like the original Star Wars figures vibe and it takes me back to the kind of figures I'd have wanted (expected?) as a child. One of my favourites to this day is Luke...

Re: another Bradford exchange figure

Thanks for that.

Looks pretty cool, although it's a little bit too Hot Toys to be unique enough to consider getting (unless my eyes deceive me).

Maybe it'd be a two-parter...

Re: another Bradford exchange figure

Could someone post a picture?

Whenever I follow the link, or even click on their .com website from Google, I always seem to end up on the .co.uk site with no way of accessing the US one. Strangely I can access the AU one though, no idea why.

Thanks.

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

I actually had one which came from a jumble sale. Must have only cost around 50p, but then that was 35 years ago or so. Sadly I no longer have it, I'm not even sure what happened to it. I think my parents must have thrown it away one day and I just didn't notice until years later when I looked in th...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

I agree with you SprangFan, this is exactly what I've been waiting for.

While I pick and choose generally, i might well be tempted to pick up the whole lot in this case. I'm hoping for a bit of the vintage Star Wars or ReAction range feel about them.

Re: Batman '66 Book

Yes, I was aware of the Isis being talked about. I saw the show years ago, along with Shazam! It was just too good an opportunity to miss, that's why I thought of Frank Miller after The Dark Knight Returns and Holy Terror! In reality though, I think a Batman '66 meets George Reeves' Superman is the ...

The Boss wrote:I would like to see Batman '66 meets Isis and Captain Marvel from Filmation's Saturday Morning series, the Shazam!/Isis Hour.
I'd rather see Batman defeats ISIS, but that might be a bit heavy for a '66 themed story.

Maybe Frank Miller will do that one.

Re: The BATMAN 1966 Renaissance

I don't think there's one thing that's the highlight of the new merchandise for me. There are lots of things though that I love owning, and never thought I'd see the day that it would be possible to have such a choice of what to buy (or indeed, not buy). I don't buy everything and I'm slightly selec...
