Re: DVD Release???

I never cared all that much about Dallas. Dynasty yes; they had better eye candy. But if they are going to put the series on DVD (FINALLY!) they should do it right. Commentary, stills, interviews, costume sketches, behind the scene reels, bloopers (those should be funny, especially if someone slips ...

Re: The Bruce Wayne thread

I never liked Christian Bale's portrayal of either Bruce Wayne OR Batman. To me, he just didn't fit the look of either character. Michael Keaton was okay in the role of Bruce Wayne, but wasn't intense enough as Batman. Val Kilmer was a complete twit in both roles. He didn't have the look, the intens...

Re: Frank Gorshin and Richard Widmark

Hmmm...intriguing. I usually have him be a member of the Irish Mob back in the 30's and 40's as a younger man. Drugs, etc. but that wouldn't fit into the 1966 Batman universe, which never touched that. A bank robber, safe cracker and occasional knife man would be good for him. With a reputation for ...

Frank Gorshin and Richard Widmark

For those of us that have seen the movie 'Warlock', they played a pair of outlaw brothers, named Billy and Johnny Gannon. Richard Widmark (who BTW was twenty years older than Frank), played the brother that eventually became the sheriff, ousting Henry Fonda from the job. Frank's character, ended up ...

Re: Does Cosplay have any boundaries?

I always figured that the boundaries were those of good taste; i.e. no nudity, crudity, or lewd acts.  I've seen some OUTRAGEOUS costumes at DragonCon, and while some of them skirted the edge of good taste, nothing really went over it. I guess it depends on how much of an exhibitionist yo...

She's a little cutie all right! You're such a good daddy, making your baby's costume.

I think it's up there with listening to Barney or the Neverending Song.

THOSE are just cruel! Not even Nora is that bad!

Re: can the actors wear the costumes now?

He'd be a bit too heavy to wear it, wouldn't he? As well as Burt Ward. Both of them have gained weight since then.

Julie could fit into it maybe, she's always been on the slender side.

Yvonne Craig could possibly fit the gloves, boots, cowl and cape. As for the bodysuit...uh, no.

She did come off as a predator that's caught sight of some juicy prey, like a cat.

Me too. I used to hide whenever I heard it as a little girl.

But Cesar's looks made me change the channel to Bugs Bunny!

Re: What year and day did Batman '66 movie premiere on ABC-T

Can you imagine the case of sticker shock that someone from the early 70's would have at some of the prices today?

I paid nearly $5.00 for a gallon of milk the other day, and considered it to be cheap.

I should look into getting my own cow; or at least a goat!

The ONLY Riddler in my book. The others were sad imitations, at best.
