Ditto!
What great graphics and action.
I can imagine being a young boy in '43 and just about to explode waiting for each chapter to come to town!

Re: When TKD strikes star Jhoon Rhee RIP
Don't know how many folks here will know him but I sure remember him.
A legitimate TKD legend and the inventor of the Safe-T line of protective gear for martial arts, a forerunner of most of the protective gear they use today in MMA and police defensive tactics training.
Rest in peace sir.

Re: "Mr. Lucky" TV series
I'm a big fan of Mr. Lucky and a bigger fan of Edwards' other show Peter Gunn. Been watching them on ME TV for years as well as on DVD. I was originally drawn to both through the jazz soundtracks provided from Henry Mancini, one of my favorite composers. I love the film noir atmospheres of both seri...

Some like one, some the other. Not many seem to like both. I can watch the 43 over and over but can barely sit through a chapter of the 49.
Either way, enjoy the new adventure!

Re: BATMAN Made in '43 Discovered in '65!
Well Andy, I guess there's not too many of us 43 Bat fans out there. He's always been my favorite and I'm even half Japanese to boot! I would have loved to have been sitting in one of those big screen theater audiences back then. My intro was through my cousin's 8mm silent movies and they were great...

Car phones ruled!
Joe Mannix had one built into his car's armrest back in '68.
Doesn't get much cooler than that!

Used to love that show.
She was always a stunner in every role.
Miss her and also miss Bixby SO much. He brought so much to every character he portrayed and was gone far too soon.

Thanks for posting that!
Although always a fan of the show when it was on originally, it was Adams' take on the character that made me a HUGE fan of Batman in general.
Not to mention the guy is a hero himself for his part in the Siegel/ Schuster rights issue.

Re: Son’s utility belt upgrade
That is so great for you to do that for your son! He'll always remember that. My cousin had a homemade Batman outfit his mother sewed for him (I was younger so I always had to be Robin) that I loved. I was about 6 or 7 and still remember it. Actually, my love for that costume 50+ years ago is probab...

Re: Adam has died
January 12th, 1966 was my 9th birthday. The first scheduled episode didn't show here until a couple of days later because we didn't have a local ABC affiliate back then. It was shown on Saturdays and Sundays by the NBC station here. Even then as we were crowded around the color TV at my cousin's hou...

What a great story! That should drum up some additional business for you guys. How fun to see where our beloved WS2 items are made. Chuck, I see you're a fan of Don Post and Warren/Creepy/Eerie also. I have quite a collection of stuff, especially masks. We should compare notes someday when you're no...
