Re: Updated Yvonne Craig Batgirl display

The absolute talent of the people on this board is outstanding. Yep, hands defiantly on the hips, that's Yvonne Craig's Batgirl in full costume glory!

Re: Costume completed!

I love how the bluish shade of the costume really contrasts the belt and chest symbol making them stand out. Absolutely excellent!

Re: Meanwhile, in Westworld...

Chuck,

That is incredible! After all these years I now know where False-Face learned his craft.

Seriously, pat yourself on the back for that one!

Re: My Updated Batman Costume!

RobintheBoyWonder,

Height or weight or whatever has nothing to do with it. It's all about the enjoyment that Bat-stuff brings and that costume is magnificent! If I ever get one I just hope it can be as first-rate as yours.

Cesar the Most Sinister?

I was wondering, with all the various Jokers over the years, what was it that made Cesar's the most sinister? As goofy and madcap as he was there was just something about him that made him the ultimate Joker. Was it his expressions, his eyes, his voice, that creepy high-stepping soft-shoe walk he wo...

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread

We don't have ME-TV here in Canada but I really love the concept. I just hope they don't eventually do like a lot of other specialty channels and start out good but then quietly shift out the old better shows and bring more recent ones in calling them "retro" - even if they're only program...

Oh I do, I do! And no way in the universe will I thank the "geniuses" :x at DC Comics who took it away.

Joker Goes To School - Questions

Howdy Doo, all! I was rewatching the 'Joker Goes To School' episode the other night. Two things struck me: One - when Joker and Susie are sitting in the cab of the truck Joker says they'll use the special microphone to disguise their voices but they sound just like themselves when they talk through ...

Re: Why the Black Suit?

It's just pure Hollywood lack of imagination. "A black suit is tough, dangerous, sinister, it means business, blah, blah, blah..." I don't know - what is it? Did something get subconsciously implanted in the viewing public watching Happy Days? You know, Fonzie was the only one wearing a bl...

The World of Bat-Color

Looking at Chuck's magnificent cowl over in the 'merchandise' section I was reminded about the show's awesome look once upon a time with the richness of color it freshly displayed. From the costumes to the Batcave to the other sets it was, quite simply, dazzling! I recall back in '67 watching the fi...

Re: Can we finally put to rest....

Sorry, but DC has a heck of a long way to go to convince me about Batman. They've removed the character in the comics so far from the look and mythology that I don't even recognize him anymore. The fact that they cater to a niche crowd (you can read them on other boards slagging anything '66 or befo...

A Junior Adam West Batman?

In relation to the Batman '66 comic now being printed I found this tonight. An online comic of junior Justice League members and what looks like Batman Jr. clearly sporting an Adam West cowl. It was quite a well done strip and a lot of nods to what we knew of comics from a better era. DC Comics shou...
