Re: UK Newbie

I know it's a missing link bike in the Batman 66 Vehicles. I know I will have to face the ones who reckon they know all about that bike :ugeek: Actually, that's the great thing about this site! You WILL have access to people who know all about the bike. I imagine any question you have can be answer...

Re: 1:1HORNET STING NOW ON PRE-ORDER FROM FACTORY ENTERTAINM

Thanks! That is a custom outfit (coat, shirt pants) made by Inner Circle Toys to my specs. I provided the coat fabric myself. It seemed to be a very close color match to the screen version.... I later made some further modifications to the coat as well. Um, I wrote this for the "1/6 GREEN HORN...

Re: Green Hornet comes to DVD too!

I am not a fan of the "day for night" effect on tv or in film. But even if it could be removed, we'd be seeing the Green Hornet buzzing around the city in broad daylight, which would be even more strange!

Re: Green Hornet comes to DVD too!

The second we heard of Seth Rogen's involvement with the film, it was obvious we weren't going to be seeing anything having to do with the TV series. Hollywood's preoccupation with making the hero look like an idiot has me stumped. Did anyone see what they did to the Lone Ranger? I'm assuming they t...

Re: Green Hornet comes to DVD too!

A strong character can be interpreted in a million different ways. That's what makes Batman so brilliant. I've inked Batman by a hundred different pencilers and they were all different, but valid. Green Hornet is the same and the movie version was just another interpretation. Was it my cup of tea? H...

Re: 1/6 Green Hornet Re Boot!

I think it would do pretty well at 1/6 too! The original artist of the Britt Ried head Todd Grimes, isn't really interested in mass production. He'd prefer to keep the pieces he does unique and limited in number. Also, it becomes reeeeally complicated with copyrights etc.....

Re: 1/6 Green Hornet Re Boot!

Boy, don't talk to me about dust! Sometimes I'll pick up a figure in my studio and realize I'd set him in that place 10 or more years ago! They get positively furry.... I dig the thin brim very much! Much closer in shape to the actual hat than the stock CA version. There's nothing harder to capture ...

I'm assuming by "FB" you mean Facebook, yes? Unfortunately, I don't have one. When my kids went away to college, they were afraid I'd be looking at their business if I had one! So I never bothered...

Re: My wife doesnt like Batman :(

Since your wife doesnt like Batman, ask her to contact me, i'll introduce her to the Green Hornet. Now that's a man that takes care of business, but never seems to get any fanfair or respect. Are you kidding, I don't spend my time making action figures of just anybody! Only the coolest characters! ...

I like that idea! Do you have any pics? Even just the hat would be fine.

Oh heck, I should just change it here. I use my real name on the GI Joe TRENCHES site. I just joined this site so long ago, I thought it was required! I'm Wayne Faucher.

Re: 1/6 Green Hornet Re Boot!

Actually, no (thought about it though). I knew I could better shape the mask from scratch, rather than try to adapt the CA mask. What I ended up doing was pretty simple. I took Sculpey and flattened it out with a roller on Saran Wrap until it was really thin. Next, I trimmed the Sculpey/Saran Wrap t...
