Re: A new commission piece --Robin's been captured!--

Well, if Robin listened to Mr. Goodwin at the local general store and used CREST then he shouldn't have any problems!

Excellent artwork, SketchCardsAndCovers, excellent.

I agree also with Andy. I refuse to do social media of any kind.

Re: Batman art by Craig Davison

Very cool! I think everyone here can see themselves in this artwork. Totally agree, Ben. I also remember wearing towels with safety pins and, in my mind, virtually feeling like I actually had the whole costume on. Holy Power of Mental Suggestion, Batman! I especially like that Corgi Batmobile...

Re: Bat Tours: The Bat-Roads

Thanks Scott and Ben. Research like this is fascinating (with apologies to Mr. Spock). Finding out how everything looks today compared to almost 60 years ago really is a visual sort of time capsule. It's neat that so many locations were actually so close together which makes economic sense from a pr...

Re: Filmation Remaster Coming

For my money, the only difference I've noticed whenever I look at side-by-side comparisons of cartoon originals and blu-ray reissues (any search engine will do) is that the blu-ray version is brighter and the colors a little richer. I never see anything more than that because, as Andy stated, cartoo...

Re: Kevin Conroy RIP

Batman, to me, was personified by only two men - Adam and Kevin. Now both are gone and, in a way, the character for me is now gone as well. Thank you, Kevin, for the great performance and the memories. I still recall way back in the summer of '92 first discovering BTAS when, while scanning through T...

Re: Regarding the Surfing Episode...

Thanks, Jim and Ben, for clearing up a long-standing mystery for me. I asked Fred, Daphne, and the gang about this, but it was one mystery they couldn't clear up and cost me a few Scooby snacks in the process! :P Anyways, didn't know about the upcoming Bat-locations book. I'm already in line for it.

Maybe the variant could cast some Dark Shadows.
Ha! I see what you did there! :P

Re: Corgi Batmobile reissue BIG NEWS

I would like the variants too, seeing as red striping would be accurate to the show, but the all-black would be accurate to the original product. In any event, here's hoping we don't ever again see those god-awful Batmobile red clown wheels or cheesy Bat-boats (red plastic stabilizer fin and wrong f...

Re: Batman '66 Cosplay in City Park

Bat 77, this is freaking great! Your costume is wonderful and I really applaud your choice of backgrounds in the various photos. They look like they could have been taken in Beverly Hills and other L.A. environs which more or less were Gotham City in a number of episodes. That first one has a 'Gates...

I would have loved to have bought this, unfortunately, much of collecting has gotten too expensive now in conjunction with everything else in life.

Sorry to hear. My condolences to his family and friends. His band's performance on the season 3 surfing episode captures a moment in time we all wish we could go back to.
