Re: Hollywood Walk of Fame/Neil Hamilton

Per this Wikipedia timeline , Neil was inducted in 1960, at the age of 61. When we visited Hollywood last year, Neil's was the first star I saw from a Batman cast member. I saw Adam's soon afterward and hastily decided to "collect" bat-stars' stars with my phone, so I ran back to grab Neil...

Re: Special guest villain!

How about Mickey Rooney in a Chandell-like double role as Tweedledee and Tweedledum? And while The Cavalier was a pretty lame villain, he'd have made a better role for Maurice Evans than the Puzzler. I'd love to have seEn Don Knotts in a bat-guest role, but I think he'd have been more convincing as ...

Re: Batmobile sighting!

I'm not enough of a Batmobile aficionado to say which car it is (or if it's a reproduction), but the still posted on Facebook looks much more like an "undressed" Batmobile than a modified Futura: It has the Batmobile's rear tubes, open cockpit, and (despite the crummy color quality of the ...

Re: ME TV website - 19 Batman details

I wonder if the lack of a "Pluto" henchman in the Zodiac Crimes caper might have had something to do with Disney's dibs on that name...

Here's a recent take on the same model (with a different paint job), as seen on Pawn Stars a few years ago: http://www.automobilemag.com/news/pawn- ... nvertible/

Re: Script: THE JOKER GOES TO SCHOOL, first draft

Until I read the script, I never noticed that the deathtrap moving van said "John Doe & Sons," on the sides. or that the truck could be seen in the background of Joker's hideout. Now I can't stop noticing it -- and it bugs me that it's still there in part two, after the gang abandoned ...

Re: Batman Animator JAMES TUCKER's TOP 13 BATMAN '66 EPISODES

James really is plugged in to the series, and he's a great writer, too, The Black Widow two-parter would never make my top 10 (or 13), but his hilarious descriptions of Miss Tallulah make me wish I liked those episodes better.

Re: Utility Belt Orientation

The belt with top-loading pouches was used only in the pilot episode. As I understand it, retrieving items from those pouches was unwieldy, especially for an actor wearing gloves. The "gravity-assisted" bottom-loading pouches proved much more efficient.

Re: Script: POP GOES THE JOKER, first draft

Chrisbcritter pretty much sums up my thoughts (especially about the drumstick). :) The only note I'd add is that someone in the production department wisely thought to add the business about painting the batpoles, to prevent Joker from literally reading the writing on the wall to figure out what wha...
