Re: What all is there of the 60's Batman Series?

There are also these slim UK publications from World Adventure Library. I was curious to seek out the Egghead issue, since he was original to the TV show. Then I also located Bookworm. The Egghead adventure sees the return of Miss Bacon. His new goons are Fry and Scramble. Pressman, Printer's Devil ...

Re: Latest Profiles in History Auction Coming

Interesting that the Mr Freeze helmet had gold and silver. I hadn't noticed the gold (esp. in the b/w days).

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

Got these neat custom painted Mexican Batman figures-- the pictures don't do them justice, they are really great. The Robin reminds me of the Robin figure I received one Christmas in the late 60s. The cloak was rubbery and metallic gold and he hung from a piece of elastic. My grandmother bought it ...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

So in reality....Funko will never tell us this line is cancelled because they want us coming back to buy their other crapt products. You can't call the recent "New Teen Titans" figures "stuff". They are stunningly made. What was interesting is Funko finding new ways to distribut...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

The Blu Ray set I have, includes something called “The Adam West Scrapbook”. Is this the same as the “Adam West Naked” DVD?????? I hate to think I have to purchase that now! There were two versions of the deluxe boxed gift set of Blu-Rays. The first (pictured, figures not included) had replica gum ...

Re: "Gee I hope somebody shows up tonight." - Burt Ward

I just booked my ticket from Sydney, Australia, to Los Angeles! I shall be able to attend the "Batman '66" exhibit during my visit 1st-4th June! (And then other destinations throughout June.) I enjoyed my visit to the Hollywood Museum in January 2013, but the "Batman '66" exhibit...

In a related "pedestrian safety" theme, does the Riddler outrun his own question marks in this scene?

Re: A Change In Perspective: King Tut episodes

The issue with me was due to that one episode of the 90s animated series where there's a guy named Maxi Zeus who suddenly thinks he's the God Zeus. Very annoying character and nowhere near the charm of King Tut. There was also the Victor Goodman comics version (named for Buono): https://www.dccomic...

Re: A Change In Perspective: King Tut episodes

As a kid, Egghead was my favourite but, as a young adult, I realised that Victor Buono was a very gifted actor. He has some of the best one-liners and long speeches, delivered superbly. To top off his hilarious performances, he was consorting with Grace Lee Whitney and Lee Meriwether, both of whom I...

Re: ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 Coming this Summer

I found weird that they keep doing those "oldies" crossovers and let the main title die. Why they did cancel the Bats66? Sales? I was very surprised when the main title ended. I had assumed it was selling well, and I had been enjoying the limited-animation digital versions, essentially pr...
