Re: SDCC 2023

McFarlane Toys lists it as '66 Superman on the order forms.

Alex Ross painted the George Reeves Superman but I'm not sure if it was for a '66 Batman cover or for a future cover. But that's sure to get a lot of attention to make a George action figure.

Re: 13 CLASSIC BATMAN TOYS Going Up for Auction

The auction has toys originally collected by Ed Kelly who also wrote an excellent 3 volume book on his toy collection. He limited it to 25 copies. He autographed my set. The auction catalog will be a great companion to it as it has high resolution pictures. Also the overstreet price guide to Batman ...

Re: SDCC 2023

I'm pretty sure the high priced WB attorneys would be savvy enough to also acquire the toy rights as well as the likeness rights for the Flash movie and comic books. What makes George's situation unique is that he has no heirs. No children as far as I know and his ex-wife had died. That's probably w...

Re: SDCC 2023

I also posted this on McFarlane Toys but I don't know if they'll read it because he must get so many requests: "Hi Todd McFarlane, Me and everybody else is really looking forward to the McFarlane George Reeves Superman based on the Mike Allred interpretation shown at the '66 Batman panel. Since...

Re: SDCC 2023

Mike Allred's wife Laura posted on JazzInc Dioramas her husband built a 1/6 Batcave and it looks really nice. I commented that we are all looking forward to his interpretation of the George Reeves Superman action figure from McFarlane. And if they will make improvements on making the S more like the...

Re: SDCC 2023

Did Superman even appear in the Batman '66 comic? I stopped reading it after the first issue. I get that McFarlane doing a figure means there is some kind of tie in- but I just searched online and I can't find any pics and in reading the summary of the issues there is no mention of Superman. Mike A...

Re: SDCC 2023

I didn't even react. Nor did I correct them that it's Christopher Reeve. It is what it is. If the Mike Allred Superman looked like George then that's what is being made. But it's not official. I think Mike Allred only drew the George Reeves Clark Kent in the '66 Batman comic. Alex Ross painted the ...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

This appears to be a computer render of the '66 Superman. I wonder when they will show the plastic prototype?

Andy Fish reported it is the Mike Allred artistic interpretation of the George Reeves Superman. Andy, did you happen to take a sharper picture then this one I found on the net?

Re: SDCC 2023

Thanks for the George Reeves update Andy! I hope it will have the George Reeves cape that is Roman style the way it drapes in the back. Do you think it will have the George style S? The image did not look like an actual production photograph but a computer generated image. Would this be the first ev...

Re: SDCC 2023

Maybe McFarlane will show the 1966 Batman robot and a 7-in Batman and George Reeves from the Flash cameo? Andy can you please ask McFarlane booth if they are going to make George Reeves Superman?

Re: Flash movie cuts Joker and Penguin

Burt Ward is in the movie but you have to look really close. He's standing above Batman and also climbing a wall.

Mark Evanier wrote WB executives all try to sabotage each other unlike Marvel where their United.
