Re: VBC - Friday 26th June - Viewing party and discussions
An Egg Grows in Gotham. I had a blast being part of it, so thanks for inviting me, Ben! I was on my Kindle as I had worked earlier in the day on my PC via Skype. So I wanted to get out of my work environment. I found out later on my Kindle was doing updates or something and somehow my mic kept getti...

Re: Thoughts/Ideas particularly about the third season and what could have been.
There is certainly absurdity and at times lazy writing in the first season of Batman. But the delivery was such that it felt as if the actors weren't quite in on the joke. But by the third season, this wasn't as much the case. As such, I find most of the third season great comedy, which was likely ...

Re: Thoughts/Ideas particularly about the third season and what could have been.
Being perhaps an oddball here I'll give my Third Season perspective. My Batman fandom begins and ends with the '66 series. I've never bought a comic book in my life, other than the Kiss comic when I was a kid. And I only bought that because it was made with blood from the band members mixed in the i...

Thanks!
Love those episodes, too.
In fact, one of my favorite lines is in the 2nd part, when Riddler can't find the sarcophagus.
"Gee, boss. I don't even know what an esophagus looks like."

Re: Holy viewing party! VBC - Sunday 10th May
Great idea! I have a family gathering at my sister's for Mother's Day (socially distanced, of course) that conflicts. Hopefully one of my favorite episodes isn't selected, and I can catch the next episode viewing. No problems at all! We'll be glad to have you next time! Thanks! I'm curious what epi...

Re: Next VBC: Sunday 19th April
I'm happy for you guys that this is doing so well. I was able to briefly pop in last Saturday, but unfortunately didn't have as much time as I expected (the grocery store texted sooner than I anticipated that my order was ready for pick-up). I'll be free around 4:30 Central this Sunday, so if it's ...

Re: Video Bat-Chat is back!
Glad it went well!
Sounds like it went on for quite a while, too.
I would also be interested in checking it out if a video surfaces.

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO: VBC is back!
Great idea! I don't even think the Bat-computer was capable of this, so props to Skype. ;) I'm actually working Sunday afternoon via Skype, so if I don't get to join in, hopefully I'll be able next time. I'll certainly watch it to get a feel for what is discussed. Here's wishing you a great chat Sun...

Re: Courtroom scenes and other bat-law questions
In The Penguin Goes Straight deathtrap, Gordon and O'Hara fire what they believe to be pop guns at a carnival target, not knowing Batman and Robin were hanging behind the curtain. After they escaped, Batman wouldn't go after Penguin since it was the commissioner and police chief who fired the shots....

Re: Just a few things about the movie
If he was uncharacteristically rude, it was because of his sense that they were about to have their hands full with super-criminals. And in the days before Twitter, the press was always trying to bait leaders into a paper-selling quote. Like Nellie Majors would later do. Batman was very concerned bu...

Re: Unsolved Mysteries of the series
4. It's been a long time since I read it, but I seem to recall Tommy Tedesco played guitar? #4: He played lead guitar for the Marketts (the wrecking crew). Considering the Marketts got their Batman album out weeks before Hefti, it may or may not be true. I'd love to see studio sign in forms. I have...
