Re: What Else Do You Collect?

I'm also into collecting LAPD items such as books, DVDs, t-shirts, coffee mugs, various die-cast scale, etc. It's not my fault. Jack Webb got me hooked back in '69!

https://i.imgur.com/DzpcsKB.jpg Haha, I am very satisfied with this figure! I haven’t had one of these little guys in my hands since I was maybe 10 or 11. Figures Toy Company did a good job with this reproduction. I believe the body is actually better than the original Mego version. He and I are re...

Re: Eaglemoss 1/8 Batmobile rev3

Ok so, am I reading the promo text correctly? The complete Batmobile will require 120 “sets”, 4 sets are shipped per month, and each set costs $12.90…so this Batmobile will cost approximately $1550 and take about 2 and a half years to build? I don’t see how this is an attractive option. Please tell...

Re: Displaying my Original Ben Cooper Batman Playsuit!

I have a picture of me in mine's from Halloween morning of 1971. I'll post it if I can find it. I still remember how pumped I was coming back from W.T. Grant's (which in my memory seemed to have a huge costume selection every year) in Union Lake, Michigan and couldn't wait to unbox it and put it on....

I'll buy that! 8-)

Re: Help me remember! Please!

There was an episode of The Avengers' (the original legendary '60s British TV series) 1965 season that featured a phony train set-up. It was the second episode of Diana Rigg's first year as the absolutely astounding-in-all-ways Miss Emma Peel. In it, John Steed visits an eccentric old rich guy who l...

Sketch, from everything you've displayed your artwork & talent are second to none. It's absolutely incredible! Not only is the definition impeccable but the colors are perfection as well. I'm in complete awe.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You Acquired?

I'm very happy that I just acquired a 1960 Polar Lights Batmobile model kit. I had a lot of trouble trying to find one for the last few years to complete my Polar Lights Bat model collection. I will be painting it in metallic blue and put Bat-logo decals on the doors and trunk to make it closer to ...

Re: Keaton Back As Batman?

I'm a fan of the two Keaton films and have a substantial amount of Keaton Batman in my Bat collection. My personal opinion on this? I really wish Warner Bros. and DC Comics would just go bankrupt, close down, and then dry up and blow away in the wind already. They are both so dysfunctional and haven...

Re: 1960s Animated Batman videogame for Mac computers?

I bought this back in the later '90s. It was an interactive on-screen comic book CD adapted from an episode of the 1968 Saturday morning animated Filmation Batman series. It was a lot of fun but once I upgraded from Windows '98 to Vista it no longer functioned. Same went for the Superman one I had t...

Re: New Batman Movie

Personally, I gave up on Hollywood - both the big screen and small - a few years back. I realize now that Hollyweird will never make a proper Batman film because as decades go by every successive generation that's employed there understands less and less about the source material of not just Batman,...

I'd love to have a look at this Joker but you know how Bradford Exchange screwed over those of us Canada with the 2nd Berlin Wall - commercial version.
