Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

I went to my Target today and bought a Batgirl. The main body looks good and may be better than a Mattel but the Mattel Cape is much much better than the McFarlane Cape so I ended up feeling disappointed in the McFarlane figure. Has anyone tried putting the superior Mattel Yvonne Craig head and Cap...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

I found on YouTube a video of the McFarlane panel and there was a close-up in detail of the '66 Superman. Now this is still the computer render and it might look different from tomorrow's reveal, the render slightly looks like George Reeves and a bit like Joaquin Phoenix and Michael Shannon. This mi...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

McFarlane should make the '66 Batman Robot into a tin battery operated robot that walks and the bat symbol lights up.

'66 Batman previews tomorrow on McFarlane Toys

This '66 Batman robot is a lot better than I was expecting! It's a lot further in development than I had assumed. Hopefully they will show the '66 Superman next as they said tomorrow is all '66 Batman previews and we can find out if it's George Reeves or not. ***ADMIN EDIT: I have merged this into t...

Re: Sam Rechner - could he play Adam West some day?

He does look like Adam West.

I'd love to see someone do a movie of new 1966 Batman episodes but this time with better writing and directing. Or based on the current '66 Batman comic book.

Re: SDCC 2023

Well...in the '66 Batman comic Michael Allred did draw the George Reeves Clark Kent. So there is some connection that he is the '66 Superman. The ball is in McFarlane Toys court. By now they have some idea fans think it's George Reeves. I think McFarlane has the influence and leverage to make it pos...

Re: SDCC 2023

McFarlane Toys lists it as '66 Superman on the order forms.

Alex Ross painted the George Reeves Superman but I'm not sure if it was for a '66 Batman cover or for a future cover. But that's sure to get a lot of attention to make a George action figure.

Re: 13 CLASSIC BATMAN TOYS Going Up for Auction

The auction has toys originally collected by Ed Kelly who also wrote an excellent 3 volume book on his toy collection. He limited it to 25 copies. He autographed my set. The auction catalog will be a great companion to it as it has high resolution pictures. Also the overstreet price guide to Batman ...

Re: SDCC 2023

I'm pretty sure the high priced WB attorneys would be savvy enough to also acquire the toy rights as well as the likeness rights for the Flash movie and comic books. What makes George's situation unique is that he has no heirs. No children as far as I know and his ex-wife had died. That's probably w...

Re: SDCC 2023

I also posted this on McFarlane Toys but I don't know if they'll read it because he must get so many requests: "Hi Todd McFarlane, Me and everybody else is really looking forward to the McFarlane George Reeves Superman based on the Mike Allred interpretation shown at the '66 Batman panel. Since...

Re: SDCC 2023

Mike Allred's wife Laura posted on JazzInc Dioramas her husband built a 1/6 Batcave and it looks really nice. I commented that we are all looking forward to his interpretation of the George Reeves Superman action figure from McFarlane. And if they will make improvements on making the S more like the...

Re: SDCC 2023

Did Superman even appear in the Batman '66 comic? I stopped reading it after the first issue. I get that McFarlane doing a figure means there is some kind of tie in- but I just searched online and I can't find any pics and in reading the summary of the issues there is no mention of Superman. Mike A...
