Re: PRETTIEST BAT-MOLL ?????

I don't think anyone mentioned Diane McBain. Diane was incredibly beautiful in the 1960s. I would also nominate Sivi Aberg. There are so many to choose from. I really liked McBain with Mad Hatter, and liked how she was one of the few molls who wasn't smitten with Batman. If memory serves, she wante...

Re: PRETTIEST BAT-MOLL ?????

You can't go wrong with Sivi Aberg or Sherry Jackson. But I want to throw some props the way of some others not mentioned yet. Jean Hale. Beautiful woman, great outfit. http://www.66batmania.com/guides/images/molls/polly.png Marianna Hill: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/cf/79/a9/cf79a9a62...

Re: Times when the Dynamic Duo were stupid

I'd say every time one of them said to the other "This might be a trap," and then they proceeded to walk right into - the trap. ;) Kidding aside, there are some that are more stupid than others, such as the obvious ploys to separate them they fell for (Hi Diddle Riddle, Death in Slow Motio...

Re: King Tut/Victor Buono: What's your opinion?

King Tut has always been my favorite villain. I've never owned a comic book in my life, so the appeal of Batman to me as always been the over-the-top camp, and he was perfect in that regard. I found the juxtapositions of Ancient Egypt and modern society hysterical; such as Tut and crew waiting to he...

Re: Who would YOU use to replace Y.G. for a remake of the 1966 Batman series?

I missed Katy as Jessica Rabbit. Not bad at all!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with the other ladies. Now, how about Tut, Egghead ( although, IMHO NO ONE can replace Vincent), Joker, Riddler, and Pengie. Cheers! For King Tut, I'm going to go with James Harden. He doesn't have the girth, but he does have the be...

Re: Season three "LOVIN IT!"

I love Season 3, but I'm one of those that loves the campy character of the show. In fact, I like other shows such as Green Acres and The Munsters even when they got to the stage where the foolishness was a little too much for some (including cast members). The Penguin episodes are among my favorite...

I'll second the notion for Katy Perry as Batgirl. The role suits her personality perfectly; she'd be very believable and likable. A few years back she donned a Jessica Rabbit dress for a concert for the troops and she looked sensational. She'd do the same in the Batgirl suit. http://4.bp.blogspot.co...

Re: Did you ever wonder how much stuff got destroyed in the batfights?

I was impressed with the destruction to the Batcave in the Joker/Martian episode when one of his little green men planted a time bomb in the Batmobile. I know it was toward the end of the series, but any filming after that probably required quite a cleanup.

I never understood how the Bat-shield folded up and fit in the utility belt.

Re: The Minstrel: TV's first Cyber-Criminal?

There are a few technological Bat-devices that inadvertently predicted what would come in the future. Seeing Batman with a portable Batphone likely seemed far-fetched in the 60's, yet today we all have them. Also how about the Batcomputer vs. Google? It must've seemed like a fantasy back in the 60's...

Re: Did anybody notice...???

Joker had two henchmen, Wipe Out and Riptide. Despite them both being in the episode the same amount, only Riptide has any speaking lines, and therefore only he is listed in the credits. I'm no expert on how Hollywood works, but it seems they likely could have paid the guy who was Wipe Out the same...

Re: Did anybody notice...???

In Surf's Up! Joker's Under! there are obvious indications of the limited budget; such as Batman and Robin jumping through a window that had no glass. But I noticed another possible example of cost cutting. Joker had two henchmen, Wipe Out and Riptide. Despite them both being in the episode the same...

Re: Most Dramatic Moment

In The Curse of Tut two-parter, when Tut orders Nefertiti (Ziva Rodann) taken away and ultimately subjected to the Theban Pebble Torture, Nefertiti lets out one of the most terrifying screams.

Rodann's scream is so effective because it adds some real drama to an otherwise comedic situation.

Re: Where was the Batcycle stored?

I think that's part of the humor of the batcycle, that it always seems to be just where they need it at a given time; much like numerous other bat-items that save their hides. Perhaps it's also similar to the batshield - obviously there's no way that could be folded up and put in the utility belt, e...

Re: A gem from season 3

I just watched "The Penguin's Clean Sweep". The whole fruit fly segment was hysterical. The "bat fly swatter" was classic and Adam's delivery of his lines as he's going after the flies with the swatter was over the top funny. Robin: "You got one Batman!" Batman (softly...
