Re: Unusual Batgirl Picture.

Okay. I'll bite. If it isn't Yvonne, why does it look exactly like her?

Bat Shadow

I don't remember the particular thread, but a forum member recently posted that there are two episodes where Batman made an appearance by making a shadow on the wall. I always thought that was a cool entrance...but which two episodes are they? Thanks in advance.

Re: Animated 66 Batman Movie: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders

To give my honest opinion Adam sounds more like Mayor West from Family guy than Batman. Not just the tone of his voice but the delivery of the lines seems more slower than Batman. But who am I to say he is after all many years out of practice! :D Good to have something better than the awful movies ...

Re: Animated 66 Batman Movie: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders

I agree West's voice in the trailer is too overdone. He didn't play it that way in any of the three seasons; it's almost as if he's parodying himself.

Re: 1966 Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Comics

Thanks, Dave and Steve. It appears as if the Joker story was based on an earlier comic book tale, but the other five are originals. I'm surprised that six Batman stories that otherwise haven't been reprinted anywhere aren't better known. They're all fairly entertaining and among my favorite collecti...

1966 Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Comics

There were six different Batman comics inserted into Kellogg's Pop-Tarts in 1966: The Man In The Iron Mask The Penguin's Fowl Play The Joker's Happy Victims Catwoman's Catnapping Caper The Mad Hatter's Hat Crimes The Case Of The Batman II My question: Were these stories written exclusively for this ...

Re: First Rock Band on a TV Sitcom? Maybe not...

Btw, Green is a bit confusing. His web site says they played on 27 episodes and did the soundtrack lp. Why then is he only mentioning Billy May and Neal Hefti. Nelson Riddle was the conductor in the 1st and 2nd seasons. I think some clarification is needed here. He even claims in this article that ...

Re: Batman Lava Soap Commercial

If anyone has a copy, I'd be happy to transfer the VHS free of charge to properly digitize the commercial and make it available to those on the Board that are interested.

Re: Batman Lava Soap Commercial

I've been looking for this for 20 years. I'd gladly pay a decent chunk of change to get it on DVD. I've heard FX aired it but if they did wouldn't it be on YouTube or eBay? To the best of my recollection, this hasn't been shown anywhere in 20+ years (assuming FX did indeed air it). If someone on thi...

Re: Is the Tim Burton Batman on it's Way to Being Forgotten

I thinks it's fairly safe to say the biggest fans of the '89 Batman movie are fans of Tim Burton in general. There are some very nice touches in the film, but it could have been and should have been so much better. Burton may be a "visionary", but it's not a vision that all Batfans share.

Re: Is the Tim Burton Batman on it's Way to Being Forgotten

[quote="Yellow Oval] I also think Burton had the better Batcave that was closer to the lore than the bland, empty, cheap-looking places Nolan established under the Manor and down at the harbor. Not inspiring in the least! And, as always, if anyone was to tell me Nolan's versions were "more...
