Citizens, I seem to recall Mae West WAS under consideration to play a villiness on the show, perhaps Minerva. Likewise Clint Eastwood for Shame and Two Face. My wish list includes Don,Knotts as Scarecrow and Telly Savalas as Dr. Hugo Strange, assuming Vincent Price reamains Egghead. Mr. Deathtrap

I've read here Clint Eastwood was under consideration to play Two Face, but plans to use the character were abandoned. As his career advanced, he was considered again to play Shame and was, in fact, the basis for the character.

Wierdcorey and Claviaranck have brought up my objection to the Minstrel story. Using Alfred's means of ingess to the Batcave seems like an obvious solution to the problem facing out heroes. I don't mind using the retro costumes though. <shrug>
