Re: Downloading pics to board?
I still haven't figured out how to do this. Am I that dense? (You probably shouldn't answer that!)

Re: Batshelf of props
It also looks like one of the cat statues used in The Cat's Meow/The Bat's Kow-Tow" There's a picture of it here, which I'd add to this post if I knew how: http://tothebatpoles.blogspot.com/2011/09/19-20-purr-fect-crime-better-luck-next.html Of course, with the cat motif, they probably found a ...

Re: Batman viewing order
Well, the movie was originally supposed to be released to introduce people to the show, so I guess if were watching in the original INTENDED order, it would go at the very beginning.

Re: Color of original Bat-tights
The colors of the shirt are very accurate to the picture I linked to. It's odd because otherwise the shirt is good. (They do a nice shirt for Robin that looks much closer to the colors I'm used to.) I apologize if I was being a pest about it. I was just hoping that having a Bat-expert on my side wou...

Re: new female villians
I had read that Claire Bloom had also expressed interest on being on the show. With her experience in Shakespeare plays, she might have been a good fit for Lady Macbeth if Diana Rigg said no. That's interesting. Do you remember where you saw that? I did some looking around, and I may have confused ...

Re: Color of original Bat-tights
I just hit "auto correct" on my photo and it increased the saturation to that level. All those photos looked tweaked to me. So I guess what I'm getting at is this. Do you think those colors in the picture they used are accurate? I've never seen an actual Batman costume in person, but that...

Oops, sorry about that. Try this link here:

(I'll also try to correct that link in the original post.)
It's definitely much purpler in their picture.

Re: new female villians
I seem to remember reading somewhere that one of the proposed Batman villains was Lady Macbeth.

Color of original Bat-tights
I had bought the Batman '66 sublimation shirt that mimicked the front and back of the Batman costume. I liked it a lot, but I thought it had too much of a lavender tint to the coloring. When I emailed the company to inquire about it, they told me that their Art Department was trying to duplicate the...

Re: Batshelf of props
I see a golden cat statue on the top right of the first shelf. That would obviously be from a Catwoman episode, but I'm not sure which. I think they might have just taken some random props to fill out the shelves. For example, on the bottom shelf it looks like there's a tambourine with streamers on ...

Re: Looking for Burt Ward/Robin personal appearance commerci
The only way you're going to see local commercials like that again is if you find someone who recorded direct off the air back then. Which isn't likely for pre-1976 material. Except that I think it was a spot that played wherever Ward made a personal appearance. Only the part in the middle would be...

Looking for Burt Ward/Robin personal appearance commercial
Back in the late '60s - early '70s, Burt Ward was going to make a personal appearance at one of our local department stores. I remember there was a commercial advertising it, and I would love to see it again. I don't remember a lot about it, except I think it was what they call a "doughnut"...

Re: Batman font?
Thanks, John. I had been to that part of the site before (I remembered seeing the Batman and Robin logos), but I didn't remember those fonts being there. Sure enough, there they be. Thank you again, citizen!
