It probably did light up but the switch could have been anything on the back and not seen.

That doodad does beg to be used as a proper switch/button though.

This just looks like a brass piece to me.
The back looks to be a nut soldered on.

They were all used at one point or another so use the ones you like. If you mean mixing them, the one I saw had the round tabs and one with the full flap turned upside down. Kudos for going the extra distance for your paint color!! That's a bright yellow, huh! Keep up the great work and I'm wishing ...

The buckles are on a six to eight week delivery schedule and it is clearly posted in the shipping info.

The buckle is on schedule and will be ready for an early March delivery.
