Bat sprays
Just finished a collection of Bat-sprays. Gotta love "do it yourself lettering" (doityourselflettering.com)! I can hardly wait to use their product again. A bunch of projects I have been working on for awhile all seem to have come together in the last week or two. I may soon need to look f...

My Julie Newmar Catwoman mannequin
Well, my Terrific Trio finally have an adversary! Catwoman is complete (although I will probably continue tweaking). The wonderful costume was made by our own Catgreg. I chose this particular mannequin because I thought it really evoked Julie Newmar as Catwoman (there is a publicity shot of her in ...

Catwoman's golden cat statue
Just completed this. Found the vintage statue on Ebay. To my eye it looks like the identical sculpture used for the cats in "The Purr-fect Crime" episode. Does anyone have a good screen-grab from the new dvd/Blu-ray of it? I cleaned it up and painted it. I then found the appropriate jewels...

Re: Gordon bat phone
Thanks! I used a 1-1/2" wooden disc to fill the center of the face plate and drilled a hole in it to accommodate the switch. The disc fit the space almost perfectly. I spackled all gaps/holes in the face plate. I actually bought 2 pushbutton switches and combined parts of them. I liked the heig...

Gordon bat phone
Recently completed one of the projects I have been working on. I purchased a vintage (black) rotary telephone and converted it into the red Gordon hotline bat phone. I thought it had the perfect shape (if not the height) to match the phone on the show. At this point it is not functional, just a non-...

Re: Completed Moebius models
The models are not difficult at all in my opinion. In fact, I found them quite fun. The painting depends on how detailed you want to be. Painting the faces was the most difficult. The details are quite small. But the sculpts are great and I found that the pieces all fit together very easily. Robin i...

2015 Hallmark ornaments
Just ran across this preview of the Cesar Romero Joker ornament planned for Hallmark's 2015 keepsake ornament line. Looks great. Hope we soon get a Burt Ward Robin also. "Christmas in July" will be here before you know it!

Re: Completed Moebius Catwoman model
Here's a quick pic of Batman and Catwoman together. Sorry about the shine. They are sealed with a matte sealer, but the flash on my camera is really bouncing off of it.

Completed Moebius Catwoman model
Finished my Catwoman Moebius model today. It was another fun build. I am really impressed with the sculpts they have been doing and the precision of the model pieces. 2 down and 5 to go (I think?)! Anyone else complete Catwoman yet?

My Batman mannequin & trio
Well, I think my Adam West Batman mannequin has come along far enough now to unveil him. There are still a couple of things I want to do, including getting a more accurate pair of gloves and upgrading the belt. The buckle is beautiful and comes from Williams Studio 2. I decided to make the rest of t...

Re: My Robin mannequin
Thanks Wally and everyone for the nice comments and suggestions. The wig doesn't really have any red in it, but I agree it looks that way in my photos. But I have realized that the color is too light brown. I have another wig on order that I hope will be better. I will be try to fit the new wig a li...

Re: My Robin mannequin
bnkpro: Yes, I find the gloves to be too long also. I don't really understand it, since they were supposedly made using the original Burt Ward glove patterns. Otherwise, the gloves are beautiful and I really like them. But too expensive for me to order another pair. So I just choose to "believe...

My Robin mannequin
My Robin mannequin is finally completed, and I wanted to share the results. Batman will soon be ready and then I will post some new pics of my Terrific Trio. In actuality, they may never be "completed". I think I will continually find small things to tweak. But I am very happy with the cur...

Re: Completed Moebius models
No putty. In some instances, the seems are located where the seems would be on the original costumes, so they seem appropriate. I wasn't really worried about hiding other seems. Its a model, and I am OK with it looking like a model. This model is so well made and so precise, that seems are not very ...
