Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs
Another thing I just noticed - the girl on the left in this shot looks like Judy Strangis (sister of production director Sam & of "Electro Woman & Dyna Girl" fame.) Yes? No?

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs
Saw this and felt it appropriate for this thread. The 3 Stooges’ Joe Besser has a walk-on cameo but no lines in the episode “Hizzonner The Penguin” starting at +8:30.

Re: Licensed 1:1 Bat Shield replica
Looking at the backdrop they used to photograph this, if that's a standard window the shield is approx. 30" wide and maybe 40" or so tall.

Re: Full screen version
So the Batpole landing pads alter between old & new versions throughout S2 & S3. Batcopter footage from Surf's Up Joker episode doesn't match movie but the Batboat footage from S2 "Walk The Straight And Narrow" matches movie footage and you can see that some info is missing from bo...

Re: Full screen version
I took a scap from one of the first occurrences of the new Batpole landing pads from S2 of the TV series and overlaid it atop the landing pads in the movie scap. Got them extremely close in scale and am convinced they shot this sequence twice (1 each Movie & TV) as the angles are a bit off, not ...

Then found this thread about the laser disc which seems to confirm it is 1.85:1 anamorphic: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/batman-the-movie-aspect-ratio.49855/ This thread is referring to the initial DVD release, not the LaserDisc. Sorry, got my threads mixed up during research. This is what I fo...

Re: Full screen version
I checked an ebay listing for the Laser Disc and there's no info on the packaging or disc related to aspect ratio. Just Mono for sound and closed captioning indication.

Re: Gotham license plate ID
I skimmed through the movie (not the blu-ray.) Majority vehicles are in the pier scenes but are either obscured by objects or too distant/blurry to decipher.
