Re: Good acting by secondary characters in the show
I think this is one area where the Batman '66 really shines. I have lots of favorites, but off the top of my head: Barbara Heller, Zelda the Great - As the owner of the jewelry store, she was weak at the knees when meeting Batman and Robin. But once the scheme failed, she quickly thought they were a...

Re: Grace Gaynor/Chickadee RIP?
Sad news, but she lived a long life.
I really liked her character and the 2 episodes she was in.

There's the scene toward the end of the '66 movie when they are separating the dust.

Sad to hear. I thought he was great in that 2-parter with Shame.

Re: How would she know?
There's a lot of instances where all parties involved could've easily put two and two together and figured out who's who. Like when they went to Londinium. Barbara Gordon makes the trip, then Batgirl mysteriously shows up? And what a coincidence - Bruce Wayne brought crates of stuff for his nephew D...

Re: What rekindled your interest in Batman '66?
TV Land airing it in the early 2000's. I had a handful of episodes on VHS from airings in the mid to late 80's; but the picture and sound weren't the best. Around 2003 when it was on TV Land, I recorded every episode, pausing for commercials when I was also able to watch (it aired at 3 in the mornin...

Re: Bat-thought of the day
Something spilled on the seat of my car, which I was unaware of until I tried to get out of it, and it was sticky.
My first thought was when Penguin pasted Batman and Robin to the Batmobile.

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs
I made my own 'bootleg' set so to speak, around 2003 when the show was airing on TV Land. It took about two months but I videotaped every episode. The DVD revealed some clips edited out for time compression, some of which I knew about since I recognized missing lines. But others I was shocked by. Fo...

Re: RIP Julie Gregg
Sad news, and I loved her performances on Batman. I often do Google/Wiki searches on actors and actresses appearing on Batman when I see their names in the credits. Many of course have passed away, but it's often a surprise to learn some are still with us. Sadly that number diminishes with each pass...

Re: Missed opportunity
There's quite a few appearances by members of the Bat-family during Season 4 of the Beverly Hillbillies. In addition to Julie Newmar, others appearing include Van Johnson, Dan Seymour, Eileen O'Neill, and Edy Williams. Eileen O'Neill looks incredibly like modern day Katy Perry. And I'm not sure, but...

Re: Batgirl's stunt double Years before the DVD set was released, I videotaped the entire series off TV Land. As the credits rolled, a TV Land announcer read interesting tidbits about the show. On the Penguin/Lola Lasagna episode, he said her stunt double for the horse race scene was actually a man....

Way too many, but the first that comes to mind, "I come to bury Batman not to praise him."

Re: OFFICIAL BATMUSIC THREAD ADD TO IT WHEN YOU WILL
It's probably been addressed somewhere, but if you guys are interviewing people behind the scenes involving the Bat-music, I'd be interested to hear the process of getting the music synced with the fight scenes. Some episodes, such as Archer's, have unique musical 'stabs' during punches that land. ...

Re: Happy belated birthday Birthday Eileen O'Neill!
I recently picked up season 4 of Beverly Hillbillies (lots of Bat-connections) and she was in an episode called Private Eye. Good deal of screen time; loved her. Katy Perry has a similar look to how she looked in that show, very appealing.
