Re: 66 Movie - Villain Photos & Other Observations
The Catwoman in Wayne Manor photo has always bugged me too. My explanation for it is that they had Lee do a short promo video for the movie on the Wayne Manor set (you can find it on Youtube). Obviously they just took a photo of her at the same time and used it for her "official criminal" ...

Re: Villain Theme Party
Welcome to the board and what a great idea for a party. Maybe the villians could "steal" and hide the birthday cake or a present and leave clues for Batman and Robin (or Batgirl) to investigate and find it. Sort of like scavenger hunt where one clue leads to the next one, etc. until you fi...

Re: Continuity and other series stuff
OK, that works once or twice, but after a few times you have to question the security of a prison that can't keep dangerous criminals locked up. If they are always escaping then you have a situation that is just as unrealistic as in the TV show.clavierankh wrote:In the comics they would say she escaped.

Re: Continuity and other series stuff
Would you have been happier if they had thrown her in prison for 20 years after her first crime and we never saw her again? :D :D :D I never read the comic books, but I have to assume that the same situation applied. They used the same criminals repeatedly so something similar must have happened unl...

Re: Scene from "Minerva, Mayhem and Millionaires"
Like you, I don't know the storyline from the comics. As has been brought up numerous times on this forum, there is very little backstory to characters; including the Batman/Bruce and Robin/Dick. Personally, I think the show may have lasted longer if they had done better character development, but t...

Re: Episode 78 tank used
The submarine looks to be based on a World War II German U-boat designated the Type VII. It closely resembles a Type VII, but there are some accuracy problems. Most notably, the large sponson that ran near the waterline in the conning tower area is missing. Several websites list the submarine as bei...

Re: Episode 78 tank used
I found a very grainy photo of the Penguin's tank and I am fairly certain it is the M5 version. For those who care, gold is a terrible choice of metal for a tank. It is a very soft metal and would provide very little protection. I hazard to guess that a police pistol might be able to penetrate armor...

Re: Episode 78 tank used
It was a Stuart Light Tank. It has been awhile since I've seen the epsiode so I can't be sure if it is the early M3 version or the later M5 version. The Stuart was used in World War II as a reconnaissance vehicle as it had very light armor and a very small cannon. It could not fight enemy tanks, but...

Re: Who played Vice Admiral Fangschliester's assistant?
The Admiral's aide has three lines. I transcribed her part of the scene below: Robin calling from the Batmobile. Robin: “Operator, Please give me the Pentagon in Washington. The Navy Department” The aide and the Admiral are seen playing tiddly winks. The phone rings and she picks up the phone. Aide:...
