Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Since it seems that comic Two Face is coming to the line, how about altered Gordon and Harriet? Didn’t they appear in the comic? They were in the movies. To me they’re both glaring omissions from all of the modern merch. I’d take those versions over nothing. Also, Clock King showed up as a pin or so...

RIP “Cossack” Gene LeBell

Stunt man, trainer, wrestler and promoter Gene LeBell has passed away at 89. He was one of Egghead and Olga’s cossacks in their trio of episodes and may very well have done other work on the show.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Searching Batman 66 on the Target app will yield listings for all of the new figures but you can’t pre-order them yet. The villains hideout is indeed from the movie, but I have a feeling that something licensing-wise prevented them from using “United Underworld” as the entire logo is changed. I don’...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

It fits well with the McFarlane figures as well as the 66 Mattel’s but it was a release in a separate Mattel line and included various Alfred heads including Alan.

Was never a comic book guy. Even as a kid discovering the show my order was 3 - 2 - 1. Bring on the Bat Laughs.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Seems like the cave is plentiful now. My bud P.N. Gwynn gave me a heads up that they were available last week and mine is on its way to the store, but I just checked and they’re still available as of this morning.

That Tracy villain pic is incredible. I’d seen the Pruneface and Flattop makeup test pics before, but never that one. And in color! Wow.

...and despite my not caring too much for Batman, I found The Joker today and I must say that, in my opinion, it’s the best Cesar figure to date.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

There hasn’t been a perfect ‘66 figure line yet and judging from my purchase of Batman today, this definitely isn’t it. It’s a fun figure, but I hate the indecision between articulation here. Either go all the way so that they’re extremely poseable or go retro with just a few points of articulation....

Re: Episode Production Order

Just a guess, but they could film the window scenes anytime, and edited into almost any script. They are usually stand alone and do not effect the plot. Santa at Xmas time, for example, could have been anyone but since Puzzler aired in Dec why not put in St. nick? Ho, ho, ho Batman ! Isn’t that tho...

The unheralded somewhat recent edition to FTC’s Batman 66 line, removable mask Riddler, is finally down to $20 in the window box. I wish they had all originally been released in the window boxes.

Re: Those Wacky Citizens of Gotham City

Officer Toody easily should’ve been part of Chief O’Hara’s elite squad (“...when it comes to brains, me men just aren’t equipped.”) but instead it appears he retired from the force to become a talent manager.

“Ooh! Ooh! What a talent I got!”
