The Riddler shocked me because he was wearing a green leotard and tights, plus his twisted laughter. The Mad Hatter's hypnotic hat scared me a bit.

All are good suggestions, but sadly we'll never get to see any actress as Poison Ivy from our favorite TV show. Poison Ivy first appeared in the summer of 1966 in Batman #181. By then the show was already on TV and a smash hit. So many scripts had already been written that little attention was given...

I don't have pictures, but the best views of the back of Riddler's leotard are (Gorshin) "Ring of Wax" and (Astin) "A Riddling Controversary".

I'll never fully understand why the 1966 Batman movie was released on DVD, but not the series? It's the same studio, same producers, same cast and the same writers. Can anyone clearly explain this to me?
