What are your thoughts on the screen test cowl and more specifically, the ears? In addition to being placed higher, they look a little shorter.

True, but at least they had the decency to separate the colors - they could have made it all black and that would have looked horrible!

I figure it was branding guidelines just because so little product actually was based upon the '66 show/actors and their portrayals of the Bat cast (licensing deals appear to have been rarely in the cards for cast likenesses back then.) I think it was a matter of making the bottom edge of the separate attached ear disappear so you get a smooth look from the front like the comics. Kinda makes you wonder if they went to all that effort to paint an ear extension, why didn't they just make a larger ear?

Looks like they were trying to make the bat-ear begin above the Adam ear. Looks good in some of those shots, others not. Thanks for the pix!
