Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

Just got the Batman Viewmaster slide set The Purr-fect Crime. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t315/Golddragon71/IMG_1165_zpsomsj7z90.jpg It always seemed strange to me that they only did one set from the TV series (i'm not saying they should have done every arc but they should have at least done ...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

So the other day TNI reported that NECA was doing Batman Begins Batman and arkham city harley Quinn as it's Holiday super heroe figures (Personally I would have preferred to get a Burt Ward Robin to go with Last year's Adam west Batman over Harley quinn but I guess we'll have to wait til Next Year. ...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs

GCB sent the bill to the Gotham Police Fepartment but the police paid the bill out of a trust fund provided by Bruce Wayne under an anti-crime grant he set up. (That's my take anyway)

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs

I guess this is the best thread for this. I was watching the Special Feature Na-Na-Na Batman. (nothing new, I had seen it a dozen times since I got the DVDs last year!) and I realized something when Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow's Caty Lotz was talking about the Hotline Phone in the Batmobile. The Hotli...

Re: How did the Bat-Poles/Automatic Bat-Costume Changer work???

Makes me interested to see Batman 66 meets Wonder Woman 77 As if I wasn't already) Bruce and Diana go to the Batpoles upon hearing Robin's in danger. Diana has Bruce negate Dick's Robin change device On the way down Diana spins on the Bat-pole...(snicker!) and when they arrive she's dressed as Wonde...

Re: New Green Hornet hope?

I've been listening to a lot of the Green Hornet Radio show lately and I could really get behind a period style Green Hornet TV series set in the 30's-40's withn Van Williams playing a supporting Role as Dan Reid Jr. (Britt's Father/Lone Ranger's Nephew) I bet it would be a huge competition for Arrow!

Re: ***SPOILERS*** ROTCC Discussion

Jumping ahead just slightly, I just watched the first part of the Puzzler Arc (The Puzzles are Coming) Starring Maurice Evans as the Puzzler. the funny thing I noted was that during the episode the chiming music used for the Bookworm was carried over for the Puzzler. An interesting link between the ...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast -- Shame: Blazing Guns and Hot Rods

Batman's misquote is particularly funny when you consider that he (as Bruce Wayne) corrects Bookworm in the end of that arc after Bookworm has already corrected Lydia on that "Best Laid Schemes" quote.

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast -- The music of BATMAN

I was just listening to this episode and the track sample played at 18:50 reminds me of a track called Dr. No's Fantasy from the Dr. No Soundtrack by Monty Norman.

Re: George Sanders as Mr. Freeze

I was thinking about the question of how Robin got around on his own when Batman had the Batmobile and it was always my belief that after Batman left, Robin used the Hotline in Gordon's office to call Alfred who would pick Robin up in a Limousine that wasn't identifiable as belonging to Bruce Wayne....

Re: How did the Bat-Poles/Automatic Bat-Costume Changer work???

I always wondered what the drop was in-story. In Flop goes the Joker, Alfrd remarks that Joker didn't quite make it to the Batcave. Given the amount of time it took for Joker to get as far as he did before Alfred hit the switch and how long it took him to come back up, I wonder if the drop isn't a c...

Re: How did the Bat-Poles/Automatic Bat-Costume Changer work

I don't think it was a "changing station". Remember, in several episodes Bruce uses the "Negate Bruce's Change" switch. Why have the switch if he just stops to put on the costume halfway down the pole. Unless of course you want to argue that all the switch does is keep the lift ...
