The Studio sounds like a fascinating book.

If Eastwood appeared on the series, I wonder if his career choices would have changed after that point?

This is in reference to the NEW 1/18 die-cast model of the Black Beauty.
Well, all we can do is wait and hope for the best.

Re: ~*****"The Green Hornet"*****~on MeTV!

I wish ME-TV would move TGH to a reasonable time slot. The fall version of their Sci-Fi Saturday block just launched last month, but I wish they would add TGH to that schedule. Superman is a half-hour series, so TGH could be added there, or perhaps Wonder Woman --long a part of the Saturday block co...

As someone just mentioned on the board, they didn't act that thrilled, but at the end, they took a bow. I remember that special--and I too wonder why Adam & Burt were so..down. They appeared to be disappointed, or perhaps embarrassed. Someone should ask A & B if they have any worthwhile mem...

Re: The Bat Shield- where did it go?

No, John, I didn't get my answer. I already knew it was being set down, my curiosity lies in where the writers MEANT for it to disappear- I've always believed it was into a secret pocket in the cape, and not the belt. I would imagine a script would detail this, therefore my request. Smart money say...

Yeah...in the Batgirl article, the Assistant Director called her "Batbroad", of all things.

Re: 1/6 Green Hornet Re Boot!

Thanks! That is a custom outfit (coat, shirt pants) made by Inner Circle Toys to my specs. I provided the coat fabric myself. It seemed to be a very close color match to the screen version.... I later made some further modifications to the coat as well. You said you made the mask--did you use any o...

Re: Mr. Freeze

Sanders gets my vote as the best IMHO, BTW. x1000. Sanders' Freeze was a mix of respectability and sinister determination in his scheme. He seemed like a real threat, rather than a theme-gimmick of the week. Otto's " vild " was too cartoonish (and just a rehash of a million other "Eu...

Re: Is the Tim Burton Batman on it's Way to Being Forgotten

Hi all, I wouldn't have thought it in the long run, but the '89 Batman is becoming a footnote in that decade's nostalgia rather than a stand out mark. And after viewing it again recently, it does appear, surprisingly, dated. Though it and 'Returns" run circles around the Bale snore-fest. Well,...

Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

I was wondering if maybe any of the cinematographers for the Batman TV show were asked to participate in the production of its video release. I lean on the side of seriously doubting that. For example, Universal's restoration of their horror classics happened without the participation of cinematogr...

Re: First Time I ever saw Green Hornet

Ya know in TODAY'S MARKET, the market share that Batman had in the 3rd season and GH had at the end of their first season, these shows would not have been cancelled. Batman had a 30 share in the third season and GH had a 18 share!! Of course with only 3 channels and PBS, no one had anywhere else to...

Re: First Time I ever saw Green Hornet

Actually in front of test audiences the Green Hornet did better than Batman. But by time it came along Batman was already established and extremely popular. I always found that to be a fascinating comment on the true taste of audiences. With all of the 2000s push for "realistic" or "...

I would love to get the Van Williams head sculpt. I like how your figures present, but are you using one of the Playing Mantis Green Hornet suits? The one from the 1999 figure--or the costume modification set?
