Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread
Might not be the kind of glitch you were expecting - Me-TV speeds up the episodes so much that bits of words are getting clipped off (note how the music on Andy's radio sped up and slowed down too).

Re: The Munsters and Batman
It's a double-edged sword - we didn't get a third season of The Munsters , but they didn't jump the shark either (unless you count the movie). To me it was the last show of the Sixties where black-and-white photography really worked, since they were going for the old Universal horror movie look and ...

Re: The ME-TV BATMAN Episode Discussion Thread
The kid (Eric Shea) was annoying when I was seven, and my opinion hasn't changed much (although when I found out he was the voice of Linus, I did get the "Good Grief!" closer). The fights in these two episodes were better than usual; especially the first one in the saloon. One odd thing: T...

Caught two in the Shame ep "It's How You Play the Game": Watch Cliff Robertson's last closeup before the gunfire starts - on the right side of the screen, you can see a crewman walking past in the background. The second one's a flubbed line: When Bruce, Dick and Alfred are talking at Wayne...

Re: "Fine Finny Fiends"....Changes From Script To Production
Was that line "Look boss - they're still breathing!" (in the first ep when the Duo are trapped by the fishhooks and gassed)in the script you have? Seemed like an odd thing to say, unless it was just to set up Penguin's next line about the vacuum tank. Come to think of it, how did the scrip...

Re: Marsha Queen Of Diamonds
I agree with you all on the script problems. Seems like a case of "when you write yourself into a corner, cut corners." I didn't want to give up on the show until the "caged toads" bit - lucky that was near the end. And to top off everything else going on, Burt was a "wounde...

Who's that in the fourth photo - Alan Young from The Time Machine ? (Bet you thought I was going to say Mr. Ed ! ) This is actually Bob McGrath who started out years ago with Sesame Street. He actually approached me for a pic and we chatted for a bit. That is what I love about these cons. Esp...

Nice to see Gedde Watanabe out and about! Met him a couple times; once when he was in East West Players' Polynesian version of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum , and the other time was at a piano bar where some drunk guy across the room kept calling out "HEY! LONG DUK DONG!" ...

Re: Did anyone notice the errors in the Ma Parker episodes S
I did have a little "huh?" moment over that - thought I'd missed something, but I guess the writers did. Watching the episode I kept thinking Ma Parker would have been better played by Ann Sothern; and she would have been performing with her real daughter Tisha Sterling. Plus, she actually...

Sad to hear this. I hope he knew the DVDs would be coming out - wish we could have heard his commentary on them.

Re: Help Getting Info on an Actor
Back to the top: I did a little research on Tim O'Kelly; info on him has been elusive but I think I cracked the case. Here's my posting on his IMDb page message board: I did a search on the FamilySearch site for Tim O'Kelly and couldn't find anyone with that name whose birthdate was a good match. I ...

Batman on TCM in Latin America?
While looking for what little remains of our favorite show on YouTube, I found a portion of an episode dubbed in Spanish. To my surprise there was a Turner Classic Movies logo on it. Question: If TCM is running Batman south of the border, are they running the show with no commercials, uncut and un-s...
