Re: Did the '66 movie need an A-list star?
Robertson had said that he did the first arc because his daughter wanted him to do it, while the second arc was due to the opportunity to work with his then-new wife, Dina Merrill.

Re: Villians watching the deathtrap in action
In A Death Worse Than Fate, Zelda knits while Aunt Harriet was dangling from a pit of fire. In Batman Sets the Pace, Jokers hangs around and checks to see if the Duo's been gassed, then freaks out when he realizes they're climbing up to the roof. In The Yegg Foes in Gotham, Egghead waits around to s...

Re: Good acting by secondary characters in the show
I'll second James Millhollin and Marie Windsor; I wish both Slye and Majors could have been recurring characters. Another personal favorite: Christopher Cary as Angus Ferguson...every time I watch "The Impractical Joker" I'm disappointed that he doesn't make a return appearance in Part 2....

Francis X. Bushman in the Riddler silent movie caper. He came across as an irritable old buzzard--even before the Temper Tonic took hold.

Re: Second Season Villains
One sad irony about Eartha is that her biggest(?) hit was Santa Baby and she ended up passing away on Christmas Day 2008.

Re: Second Season Villains
Eartha's health issues were back-related. Regarding dialogue that sounds confusing--in the third episode of S2 (Minstrel) the duo brags about past foes they vanquished and mentioned Clock King, who was still three eps away from making his first appearance. A simple explanation: CK had been filmed be...

Re: Script: THE PENGUIN'S NEST, first draft
Was it so difficult to just screen older episodes to prevent mistakes of that magnitude? Did Greenway just rubber stamp scripts not caring about the idea that some viewers would say, "That's wrong!" about Batman claiming he will not let anyone in the Batcave? Considering Dozier's motto wa...
