Re: Favorite Single Person Bat-trap
My vote goes to the 1st episode trap, when the Riddler menaces Robin on the "surgery table"... but don´t menace at all because the only plan of villain is duplicate the boy wonder´s face. But I remember myself watching the scene, petrified, worried about the helpless Robin. Gorshin´s job makes that this idea works fine!

Batman: facing the tiger in "The Purr-Fect Crime" and "Bettler Luck Next Time." Classic cliffhanger roots run through this 1st season story, and fits with the series' modern approach like a glove.
In fact, this live-action cliffanger was so memorable, Filmation adapted their own version of it (Catwoman story / large cat from a series of trap doors) in The Batman-Superman Hour animated series from 1968.
Robin: No surprise, but Robin on the sand counter-weighted plank over the tiger plank in"Better Luck Next Time" is my favorite trap for the Boy Wonder for the same reasons I picked Batman's from the episode. The danger was threatening enough, and the resolution was exciting as the launch into a wild Bat-fight.
Honorable mention: Robin on the receding plank over the crocodile pit at the conclusion of "The Spell of Tut," the second appearance of the would-be boy king (!). Another classic serial cliffhanger updated successfully. As in the Catwoman trap, this cliffanger was also adapted as a scene in Filmation's Batman cartoon (including a Batrope rescue by Batman).
Aunt Harriet's hanging over the flaming tub of oil in "Zelda the Great" is--once again--another nod to the series' serial roots, and was one of the great traps of the series. Add the great music, and its unforgettable.
