Robin in The Joker's Last Laugh Fight Scene

Post by Batfan 66 »

The fight scene in The Joker's Last Laugh is one of my favorite bat-fights, with Robin having to go solo, Bruce under the table fist-pumping when he landed a good blow and wanting to help him, and then Bruce bumbling around in the fight and getting in the way of the Joker's henchmen - that was hilarious :)

But one thing I winced at was when Robin was knocked out then picked up and practically slam dunked onto a table, which of course collapsed. Was that Burt Ward or his stuntman? It seemed like Burt Ward did it,but wouldn't a stuntman be used for something like that? Or did they even bother? That must have hurt!! Does anyone know who did it?

Stuntmen are usually used for actions that are deemed too dangerous and risky for the stars to perform themselves. So with that in mind, and knowing the show's history, I'm going to guess that it was Burt Ward. Lol.
