Riddle Me This # 8

Post by Edward Nigma »

Death Trap Edition . . .

Riddle me this . . .

The person who makes it has no need of it.
The person who buys it has no use for it.
The person who uses it can neither see nor feel it.
What is it?

Forward I am heavy but backward I am not.
What am I?

Happy riddle solving! The Riddler

The second one is 'ton' -- forward it's heavy and backward it's literally 'not'.

Citizens,

I believe the answer to the first riddle is a remark

Together with the answer to the second riddle 'ton' it can only mean the Riddler plans to rob contributors at an upcoming political event in Gotham City, or worse, he plans to run for office.

Fake his own death so he can use the coffin to hide stolen uranium and dig it up later? Although that could end up with a Batfight in a cemetery...

Riddle: "The person who makes it has no need of it.
The person who buys it has no use for it.
The person who uses it can neither see nor feel it.
What is it?"
Solution: A coffin

Riddle: "Forward I am heavy but backward I am not.
What am I?"
A ton.

The answer to the Death Trap riddle was: A coffin that weighs a ton. Clearly, I was planning to send the Dynamic Duo to the bottom of the Gotham River in a heavily weighted coffin!

PhilB and LittleLouisGroovy (The Dynamic Duo?) pieced together the solutions to the riddles! The Riddler

I salute you sirs for your ingenious answers! I may have to rely on you the next time I'm on vacation to fill in for me. (In the voice of the Batman announcer: "While Edward Nigma is on vacation, the part of The Riddler will be played by Mr. Deathtrap . . .")

Thank you Edward Nygma,

Your plan to ask someone to fill in for you in your absence will be much better received by fans than allowing the production team to recast you. LOL!
