Riddle Me This - #11
Riddle me this . . .
I live without a body and I speak without a voice.
Everyone can hear me but no one can see me.
What am I?
I have two bodies though the two are one.
The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
What am I?
I live without a body and I speak without a voice.
Everyone can hear me but no one can see me.
What am I?
I have two bodies though the two are one.
The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
What am I?

The Wind. You can hear it, and feel it, but you can't see it.

The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
What am I?
This one is tougher, but I would say Time.

Correct!! The first one is the wind.
The second one is an hour glass.
The second one is an hour glass.

But the wind doesn't always make a sound, does it?Riddlersgurl wrote:Riddle me this . . .

Nice try but if you want to deter my caper you'll have to find another answer to my riddle.
But does time have two bodies?I have two bodies though the two are one.
The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
What am I?
This one is tougher, but I would say Time.
Keep trying!

The first one is the human heart; it lives without a body because it's INSIDE a body, and everyone can hear it with a stethoscope, although you can't see it except during MRI's or CAT's, or even X-rays, as well as open heart surgery.
The second one is an hourglass (Sorry Riddler Fan), but as to what the caper is, I have no clue.

Stealing a diamond the size of a Buick from the Gotham Blood Bank? Him and what army?
Something THAT big would have to be on display at the Gotham Gemological Museum.
Literally crawling with all kinds of security devices, not to mention its on loan from the Doctor, who had it in his TARDIS, and will be royally ticked if it gets stolen?
Not to mention the fact that anyone who touches it will have his lifespan reversed to infancy when he does so?
Uh, huh.
Not even the Riddler is THAT stupid!
Minerva definitely, but not the Riddler.

Riddle: "I have two bodies, thought the two are one.
The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
What am I?"
Solution: An hour glass (Riddler Fan got it.)
Riddle: "I live without a body and I speak without a voice.
Everyone can hear me but no one can see me.
What am I?"
Solution: An echo!
No one got the second riddle which means . . . I win!!!!! What can I say? Sometimes, the bad guys win (and are poor winners to boot):

I stole the fabulous Wayne Hour Glass-- the fabulous, jewel-encrusted hour glass which contains pure gold flecks instead of sand. When the gold flecks run out, a device inside the hour glass lets out a powerful chime -- which echoes far and wide. It's worth millions on the black market!
Genius --pure genius!!!!!
