The Hollywood Reporter sadly notes the passing of actor Victor Lundin at age 83, on June 29, 2013.
Victor was 'Octopus' in "Fine Finny Fiends / Batman Makes the Scenes" and 'Chief Standing Pat' in "The Great Escape / The Great Train Robbery." He also has the distinction of being the first Klingon seen onscreen on STAR TREK, in the episode "Errand of Mercy." Victor costarred in ROBINSON CRUSOE ON MARS (1964) with Paul Mantee and Adam West.

Wow, another real character actor passed away. Still at least a legacy of involvement with iconic shows and movies will live on.

R.I.P. Little Trivia on that man. He didn't like his role as Octopus because the director told him to act strange like he had to wave his arms during the fights. Some people says that he was given a bald cap to look more like an octopus.
