Hi all, I'm new!
Hello all,
I discovered your wonderful site a few years ago and have been a frequent visitor. It’s great to see there are still 1966 Batman fans out there. I consider myself a second generation Batman fan. I grew up in the seventies watching the show and loving it. Then, as I got older, many of my friends and family said your “too old” for Batman and I sold many of my collectables and wandered away from the Batcave. In 1986 during the twentieth anniversary of the show, Adam West came to Boston for the World of Wheels show. The Batmobile would be there as well. I decided that I needed to see my hero in person and went. Adam appeared in costume. I shook his glove, got an autograph, sat in the Batmobile, and I was hooked again. Since then I have gotten back into collecting a bit. I was able to find a lunchbox and got myself the different variations of the Hot Wheels Batmobile. I do love the 1:18 and the 1:43 scales. The Batboat and Batcycle followed. So now, after reading the many posts and following along on the adventures my fellow Batfans have been on, I am ready to join the fun. This site always brightens my day and the folks here are true citizens.

Welcome Brian M.
Love the avatar pic!
Good luck on rebuilding your collection. As many here can attest to - one day it starts out small and before you know it you are fighting to figure out where to put everything! A challenge we all truly enjoy.

Re: Hi all, I'm new!
Welcome, Brian I just started posting here recently myself after reading these message boards for a few months. I'm learning so much new info that I never knew back in the 70s!

Thank you all. It's great to be here!

Hi. I am new to the board and I am from another generation as well. Grew up in the 80s and the 66 series was my first introduction to Batman. LOVED it so much. My parents introduced me to the show.
