Travel Channel covers Batman
I guess this was on the Travel Channel to show you that you could go around to several locations to see Batman-related places, though I don't think you can see the house used for Wayne Manor from the street. Anyway, they talk to Adam and George Barris a bit also. Looks to have been made around 2001?

I feel like I'm making too many posts, so I'll throw this one into this same post. It's Adam doing a promo for Nick At Nite in 1989:

Keep 'em comin', Gleeps. No need to be apologetic. These things are treasures!
Regretably, one of these days the men presented here - as well as those few others - will no longer be with us. Let's never forget to appreciate them while they're still with us.

I was on a tour of Beverly Hills a couple of months back and we did drive by Wayne Manor. But it was so overgrown with trees it was both hard to see and unrecogniseable.

The house (or I guess I should say mansion) isn't in Beverly Hills. It's in Pasadena, at 380 South San Rafael Avenue to be exact. Got the address off of IMDB.
And here are a bunch of other tv shows and movies that used it as a location according to IMDB:

I just happened to be on a youtube kick and thought maybe I was getting annoying by starting so many threads since most of the people here have probably seen this stuff a million times over the years. Subjects tend to be easier to find in the future if they have their own thread, though, so that's why I didn't want to smash them all together in one post.AndyFish wrote:Don't ever apologize for posting! Found a page about the mansion and various movies it's been in. Also, if you scroll down to the comments at the bottom, some of the comments link to video clips of some of the movies, some of which include the actual interior of the real mansion.

Also found pages on the Bronson Cave, but I'm sure people here have seen that millions of times, including in Scott's great video showing you how to get there.

Gleeps, the whole point of a board is to post messages. Keep 'em coming.
I find you to be odious, abhorrent and insegrevious.

Re: Travel Channel covers Batman
Having lived in LA a number of years before moving to Vegas, I was lucky enough to do my own Travel Channel Batman Site Tour.
Here I am in July of 2011 in front of Wayne Manor on the set of Bridesmaids:
In my Batman hoody at the Bronson Batcave
In front of Commissioner Gordon's City Hall at Warners (Sorry it was night)
And outside the Batcave Soundstage at DesiLu Culver City Studios.

Cool pics, Steve! Thanks for posting them.
I'm kind of new here. Are you in 'the biz' since you were on the set of Bridesmaids?
Also, I thought I'd read that the Desilu/Culver City studio was gone. Is it still around?

The Studios are still there and are called simply "Culver City Studios" on Ince Ave in Culver City. They still film TV shows and movies there, like the "Bewitched" feature in 2004. Yes I must confess that I have used my position as an actor to sneak off and roam studios at lunch time in search of my favorite Bat sites! LOL

Cool position to be in. Can't blame ya for wanting to visit the Bat sites! <g>
This might be what i read that got me confused about Desilu/Culver:

Two different places then?
Steve, maybe you can solve this mystery for me then. Which studio was this taken at? Btw, sorry it's fuzzy, but I snapped the pic off of the TV.
I was thinking maybe FOX's backlot since Holy Batmania was probably a FOX production.
