Gordon certainly had his problems pertaining to lemonade. Late in the first season, he drinks a batch spiked by the Riddler with Temper Tonic at the Van Jones get-together, causing him to get into an ugly spat with O'Hara. Then, early in the second year, he gives Batman some lemonade spiked with King Tut's Abu-Rabu-Simbu-Tu, but Batman counteracts it by drinking six glasses of buttermilk.

The Commissioner must be given a pass for drinking the lemonade at the Van Jones shindig. It was a temperance party at which only lemonade was being served. With only the one beverage, it was easy for Riddler to spike the libation to arrange for the mayhem he filmed for his movie and scheme.
