Such an integral part of the show we love - I dare say it would not have been the success it was without him. Very sad news.

Very sad news. Lorenzo was such an integral part of the show and its development.
He even made this little shout out to the message board back in 2010:

He will be VERY missed!

Here's a portrait my friend Deverill took of Lorenzo at his Brentwood home.

A sad loss indeed. He was a talented writer. Thank you Lorenzo for all the good times. God bless.
I find you to be odious, abhorrent and insegrevious.

Very sad indeed. His writing brought entertainment to a great many people. Not only did he develop the style of the show, I think he wrote many of the the best episodes.

May he rest in peace and many thanks to him for the enjoyment he gave all the Bat-fans.

So sad to hear this tonight. A fine man and a talented writer who was sorely underrated.

Sad. But he had a long, and apparently good life. And to a big extent he WAS the Batman TV series. If he'd continued writing it, the show might've lasted years longer. His scripts were the always top notch.
Next week, the Dynamic Duo meets the Clock King!

I remember making the connection that he had penned both Batman and Flash Gordon, and thinking ahh, so that's why Flash Gordon was so much fun. Rest in Peace.

Sad to hear this. I hope he knew the DVDs would be coming out - wish we could have heard his commentary on them.
