So What WAS That Spinning Image Anyway?

Post by Hedji »

Here's a quick question that is probably ridiculously obvious, but I've never quite cracked the answer:

What is the image seen in the spinning Bat logo bumper used for scene transitions, and just before the opening theme begins?

Anyone know? :)

There were several (perhaps more?) used during the series.
The Batmobile's Start Button and label, Batman and Robin (looking at the lawsuit paper, first episode), Robin on a black phone, and Commish Gordon (?).

Thank you!!! I always thought the first one was a Bat-label. :) You just answered a lifelong question!
