Batman marathon on IFC July 4th
Looks like the IFC channel is going to be running a Batman marathon on Friday, July 4th, starting at 6am with Hi Diddle Riddle, and going in what appears to be chronological order for ten or twelve hours.
I just checked over at IFC's website to look through the schedule, it looks like Batman will be running quite a bit through July.

Interesting. I don't have cable, and assumed IFC was a film channel. I wonder if MeTV will be dropping Batman soon? And I wonder if IFC will cut the dickens out of the show like others have? I'd be interested to know if it's cut or not when the marathon airs.

Got IFC in HD on cable (AT&T) here - and I just now put a bunch of my favorite eps in the recording queue. I'm sure they pack in as many commercials as anybody else, so the question will be: cut or sped up? At least it's my (our?) first opportunity to see how the show looks in HD.

I don't know what to expect, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's the existing show masters, and not actual HD-sourced material.chrisbcritter wrote:At least it's my (our?) first opportunity to see how the show looks in HD.

I was thinking that on Saturday night, when they seemed to have very few ads--and many of the ones they did were promos for the network's shows.Gleeps, it's Batman wrote:I wonder if MeTV will be dropping Batman soon?

You can be guaranteed IFC won't cut anything- that's part of their schtick (totally uncut programming). What they get from Warners master-wise is anybodies guess, however.

I looked at their schedule most of the way through July; don't expect exact chronological order on IFC - it jumps around a lot with some repeats. At least now it will be daily instead of weekly.
