Veteran character actor Bob Hastings died on June 30 at age 89. Bob appeared in the episode "Penguin Sets a Trend" as the Hexagon's 'Major Beasley.' A second Bat-connection, Bob was the voice of 'Commissioner Gordon' in the 1990s' BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES.

Did he not voice Comissioner Gordon in BTAS? Hopefully we will get to see and hear that great Superboy work soon since Filmation Batman and Superman were released recently.

If memory serves, he was also in the Spider-Man series from the 70's starring Nicholas Hammond.
