Conventions, memorabilia, crafts in progress and so forth can be uploaded in their own personal gallery.
PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE USING THE GALLERY:
Board rules still apply here. We are a friendly "G" rated site. Here is a list of the main guidelines for content allowed to be uploaded into the galleries.
- All images must be owned by you, given permission to you by the owner to post or scanned by you from your own personal collection. Images taken from the web that are not your own are not allowed whatsoever in the gallery. If you want to include pictures from the TV show, they must be your own scans.
- Images being uploaded must be with the intent of actually sharing them in the form of a post relevant to the board. This is not a replacement for a Flikr account for all of your photo archives. This is for crafts, conventions or other board relevant material. Off topic is allowed too within reason as determined by the mods. All images in a collection such as a convention or event do not have to be posted on the board. For example, you have fifty images from a recent convention that you uploaded in an album called "Batfest 2006." You don't have to put all fifty images in a post for them to meet gallery requirements. Not every image from the convention has to be 1966 Batman relevant to qualify.
- Artwork is fine as long as it is your own creation or you have been given permission to share it in the gallery.
- The Gallery is not to be used to blatantly advertise product. Pictures of product is fine but the description and any graphics on the picture cannot be presented or worded in a promotional way like an ad.
- Covers, menus or any other material that can be used for pirated DVDs and the like are prohibited. Likewise, the display of any bootleg packaging is prohibited.
- Please add descriptions or at least keywords in the description area. This is not required but is beneficial. Words or tags like "Adam", "Convention", "Cowl" and so forth will make it easier to look up images in the search engine. Adding this description is not required but it is helpful. Words used must be relevant to the image and not used just to make your image come up with every search. If it's a picture of someone dressed as Wonder Woman, don't put "Adam" or "Batman" in the description.
- All image content, descriptions, image names and comments must be in keeping with our board's posting rules and etiquette.
- Do not use the gallery to host images for sites such as eBay.
- All images and descriptions are subject to be moderated at the discretion of the administration.
