This is a picture of my wife and I a couple of years ago when we went to Disney World, and I didn't get the irony of it until after we did it. It's me, my wife, the Joker (on my shirt), and the penguin!

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
Been a while since anyone chimed in here - no, it isn't Thursday (or personal) but my Bat-ADD might kick in before then.
Anyhow, I've been going through vintage high school yearbooks on the classmates site, looking for interesting photos for another board I post at. I also keep my eyes open in 1966-67 yearbooks for Bat-fad items.
This was from the 1966 Plymouth-Whitemarsh book from Plymouth Meeting, PA:
Note B & R in the middle and bottom photos, and also note like at my high school, shaving cream was involved...

That's a cool find, Chrisbcutter. I always dig seeing peoples interpretations of costumes etc at the time the show was still airing.

Ringing in the new year with this one from the 1966 Bowen High School yearbook in Chicago:

I find this hilarious since the original Michael Meyers Mask was a Captain Kirk mask made by Don Post Studios! Superheroes from two eras united at last -- via a villain!wayoutjunk wrote:... I ended up getting a full head Michael Myers “Halloween” mask, turning it inside out, spray painting it blue, adding the white highlights, using pieces of cardboard for ears, and running with that...

I know it's not Thursday but...
I've just posted another "new" entry on my Bat-Blog...this time we're going back to 2009. It's a story that involves a lot of firsts, my first time in the United States, my first ever Comic Con and my first time meeting board members that have become family to me. It's a bit of a long read but as always there's some cool photos to help tell the story.
