That is, indeed, the Ben Cooper mask that came with the costume.Batfanman wrote:Is that a home-made mask or did Ben Cooper change masks over time?

That's a lot better mask than the Rubies! (come to think of it, so was the plastic Ben Cooper mask!)Lee Kirkham wrote:That is, indeed, the Ben Cooper mask that came with the costume.Batfanman wrote:Is that a home-made mask or did Ben Cooper change masks over time?

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
It's that time of week again!
My ThrowBat Thursday for this week is a photo of me and Alex taken at the Marriott poolside cave area during San Diego Comic Con 2009. This was the first time I had suited up for a convention, needless to say my suit has evolved a long way since this first incarnation. Having had the misfortune of a broken zipper on my original tunic, Scott kindly hooked me up with an emergency leotard and tights.

All these pictures are great!

TBatT! To mark the 6th installment of the Batman/Green Hornet comic this week, here's a recent encounter with a Green Hornet!

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
Here's a little Bat-fun that was had at the Bat-gathering that was held at the Anaheim Comic Con in 2010. It was here that I met a lot of our board members for the first time and had a really great time!
The cowl was the only piece of my costume that I had obtained at that time and Ben quickly threw a belt and cape on me to try out for the camera. Way to inspire a new guy Ben and Scott!

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
Awesome photo as ever BatfanMan!
Also, Greg it was a pleasure to not only meet you in Anaheim but to give you that same little bit of push that I was given years ago!
For my ThrowBat Thursday this week i'm also going back to Wizard World in Anaheim, April 2010...
Left to right: Myself (Batman), Chazbat (Mad Hatter), Troy (Mr Freeze) and Mr Barlow's buddy (The Joker).

Love this shot - everyone looks very authentic - especially love the added touch of the Joker's utility belt!

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
Thanks for the kind words, it was a blast to be around such a high standard of hero and villain costumes from the TV show. At this convention we had board members from all over the US, Canada and even myself from the UK costuming as Batmen, Robin, Batgirls, Riddlers, Joker, False Face, Clock King, Mr Freeze, Mad Hatter, Catwoman and more!Batfanman wrote:Love this shot - everyone looks very authentic - especially love the added touch of the Joker's utility belt!

Here I am, Christmas eve 1966 waving good-night to the 8mm movie camera dressed in my Batman PJ's. I guess my sister was a cat? Catwoman perhaps?? Finally after all these years getting an official release of the tv series and watching it in full color and detail makes me feel like that kid again!

Ben, that photo from Anaheim is exactly why I love the creative people of this community. Chazbat is my second favorite Mad Hatter next to David Wayne, and Troy makes a fantastic "Wallach" Mr. Freeze! And the Joker, are you kidding me? Phenomenal.
We have the best board and best members anywhere! You guys totally make me smile!

...but before that, it was January of 1966, and May of 1966 respectively...
