How's this for a throwback? Here's the first cowl I ever wore, at the first con I ever went to, way back at Megafest 2007 (pic from Scott's blog):
And it still fits! A little dusty, but hey, it's been in storage all these years:

Awesome! I remember seeing that photo like it was yesterday. Glad to know you still have your first cowl!harveytwoface999 wrote:How's this for a throwback? Here's the first cowl I ever wore, at the first con I ever went to, way back at Megafest 2007 (pic from Scott's blog):

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
I know i'm a few day's late (doesn't it suck when real life gets in the way?!) but this week marked not only the debut of Star Trek TOS but also the 50th anniversary of another Dozier show. On September 9th 1966, The Green Hornet and Kato burst onto TV screens in their almost instantly iconic rolling arsenal, "The Black Beauty". I really enjoyed the series and it's charming, very well dressed and yet incredibly versatile heroes. I also appreciated the change in tone and pace from it's sister show "Batman" and it's solid attempt at creating it's own take on a vigilante based TV show.
Back in 2009, our pal Ruben Procopio kindly took Scott and I over to Dean Jeffries shop in North Hollywood, to meet the legendary car customizer who crafted the cars we went on to love as The Black Beauty. Dean has unfortunately passed away in recent years, but I feel privileged to have had the chance to meet and chat with him a little.

Re: ThrowBAT Thursday
I've not done a "Throwbat Thursday" for a while so here's my post for this week:
Throwback to one of the most fun weekends i've ever had in costume. There's some fantastic human beings in this photo, as well as the dude who was simply getting a picture with us
I love the TV Batman, but I have a different kind of love all together for the great times with great people that it has allowed me to enjoy.

Welcome back to the board! That would be our very own "Mauled Vader" who you're posing with in your photo.FranktheRiddler wrote:I myself am a Throwback to the old board .. but that's not enough so I'll link up a picture from SDCC from 10 years ago .. anyone recognize this guy ?
