Did FF Make 1966 Batmobile History Today?

Post by Mark Racop »

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never EVER seen a single photo more than three completed 1966 Batmobiles in the same shot. By a wonderful set of circumstances, I *believe*we were able to make history today:

And after a drive through downtown Logansport, Indiana, we stopped at Trine University for photo ops:

And here are but some of the FF team of artisans that make it all happen:

Thanks so much for your kind comments about this historic occasion. Hobbybuilder, you are right--the last car is my original Bat 1 car, the one I built when I was seventeen!

It was such incredible fun. I kept looking in the rear camera on the LCD screen to see all those Batmobiles behind me! It was great!

Thank you for sharing. From the photos you wrote that you were in Indiana. Is that where all four BM are located or do you live in other states? I live in Stafford, VA and would love to see one of these up close.

Mark has a license to build and sell replica Batmobiles and he lives in Logansport, Indiana. No idea why there were four that at one time, but Mark might answer that. They are even more impressive up close.

It was a weird set of circumstances that allowed this photo op. I'm trying to set up another one next week before the cars separate, but the weather doesn't look like it's going to cooperate. The first car is my original Bat 1 car, the second one is heading to the east coast soon, another to California, and the fourth to Arizona. We were waiting for some REAL CHROMED interior parts to arrive that delayed two cars considerably. I finally found a reliable company to handle that aspect of our business, and BAM! here we are with some outstanding photos by Rick Woodall:
